We had our wedding at the Inn at Leola & it was amazing! I can't say enough about our wedding coordinator, Gianna. She was so sweet, attentive, communicative & went out of her way to make our wedding perfect. The grounds are beautiful & they made beautiful backdrops for our photos. Tracy was also awesome to work with & did an incredible job with our flowers & they were stunning. The food at the wedding was delicious & everyone was raving about it. The pastry chef was also so accommodating & she made me the wedding cake of my dreams. The service at the reception was also classy & top notch. We also loved our suite by the pool. Everything was perfect & we highly recommend Inn at Leola for the food, the grounds & most importantly the service provided by Gianna & Tracy.

We booked the Barn at Mount Hope for our wedding in March of 2019. Little did we know it would be rescheduled twice due to Covid-19. Nicole worked with us through everything from start to finish, twice and even sent us small tokens to let us know we weren't forgotten over the two years. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to help us in this crazy hectic time. Nicole and her team were amazing from 2019 to 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with the event. The wine was delicious and we made new cider fans out of some family members with that amazing blueberry cider. The Barn was a gorgeous venue for the wedding we had and the Renaissance Faire backdrop only added to the feeling. It was a truly magical evening for us

We had our wedding at Elizabeth Farms and it couldn't have been a better venue! From the first visit through to the end of the wedding, we truly felt cared for and that they wanted our day to be as special as we did. The entire grounds and Barns are gorgeous and well taken care of. Everything is so pretty that we didn't feel the need to do too many of our own decorations, which meant less work and cost for us. The communication throughout the process was easy and very responsive. In the last two weeks before the wedding, I needed help making some decisions and the venue coordinator listened, answered questions, and offered advice. The actual wedding weekend was just the best time. We had a spacious and comfortable area to spend the day with our bridal party and get ready on site. All of our guests commented on what a great place it was and how beautiful it turned out. The staff is just so friendly and checked on us throughout the night. We loved everything about having our wedding here and wouldn't change a thing!

We can not say enough good things about this venue. The owners are so sweet and attentive. The space is beautiful and very affordable for what you get. Our wedding had 150 guests and we felt like the space was filled perfectly. We had a buffet style dinner and an opened bar which both were perfectly accommodated. The dance floor is perfect. We were able to fit our deserts under the dj booth which is lofted. It was perfect for a snack as people got hungry from dancing. Our Photo Booth also fit nicely on the upper floor. The ceremony space we did outside and our pictures are perfect. Can not say enough good things

They helped us curate the perfect food and beverage menu for the day. We had people come up to us at the wedding and tell us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had! We loved that this venue is family owned and everything is on site from catering to bartending, linen rentals and the bakery. It takes all of the stress out of finding individual vendors. Even if you ignore all of that, you cannot deny the absolute beauty that this venue brings. The lights and decor that are already there are breathtaking alone before you even add your own touch to it. We are coming to this beautiful house for years and always enjoy our stay and the warm welcome by Anne. It is like coming home for us. The house is wonderfully furnished thanks to Anne and her family who have a very good eye for detail. Her dad built a lot of the furniture himself. We love to sit outside either on the porch or by the fireplace at the creek. The gardens are beautifully kept and with the house as a background, it is the perfect place for a wedding. We love this place so much and will keep coming back.

Landis Valley Farm & Museum was the absolute perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception! We knew when we were looking at venues that we wanted it in a barn setting and for the place to have a laid-back, fun, and casual feel. Landis was exactly that and more! Not only is the site maintained with the utmost care, but every building at the farm is so exquisitely quaint and beautifully rustic. Such a gorgeous place as a whole, especially for pictures during our big day. We knew during our very first meeting with Katelyn, our venue coordinator, that we were in good hands. Katelyn was experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and available by email at what seemed like the drop of a hat for all of our questions, big or small, leading up to our day. She was extremely organized and clear on expectations of what we should anticipate in having an event here. Like for example, making it clear from the day we scoped out the venue that it is an a la carte type venue, and we would be responsible for reaching out to all vendors that we would want to hire. She did provide a list of vendors that past weddings had used, which was extremely helpful, and we were lucky to find a few from that list, along with the others that we researched on our own. Katelyn’s attentiveness even the week of our wedding was so comforting. Along with our day of coordinator (that we hired from Fancy Peacock), Katelyn assisted in executing a check-in schedule for all of our vendors the day of, and everything went so smoothly! Landis does provide two attendants, one during the day and one night, who oversee the property - thanks, Dave and Elliot! Overall, if you don’t mind some DIY, and finding most vendors on your own like my husband and I, Landis makes for a dream come true wedding venue!

Where to begin!? The Hertzog family puts their heart and soul into this venue, you and your special day. Kristen, Scott and Makayla were delightful to work with, understanding our unique needs and helping us plan for a safe and special day during a pandemic. They are thorough, kind and truly put the needs and desires of the couple above all. To add, we rented out the entire B&B and our guests truly loved their experience at both the wedding and as a B&B guest. While barn weddings aren't for everyone, I highly encourage DIYers and those looking for a special place with character to partner with the Hertzog family and let them help make your dreams a reality!

The Manor at Mountain View

Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests

  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available

The Manor at Mountain View was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Angelique is an incredible coordinator and helped us the entire process, and day-of? She was amazing. Nothing slipped past her. The venue itself is beautiful and clean and has indoor and outdoor ceremony spots, a bridal and groom suite, and so much more. They are top of the line. Historic Ashland was quite literally a dream! Every inch of this venue is thoughtfully curated and well-maintained throughout any season of the year. All of our photos turned out incredible with so many beautiful backdrops throughout the property just waiting to be photographed. When choosing a wedding venue we had many different wants on our list and Historic Ashland fit them all: separate bridal and groomsmen getting ready areas, barn space for reception, outdoor ceremony, and more. However what we really focused on as our 2 non-negotiables: great photo opportunities and a good backup plan for if it rained. With so many options for ceremony locations on site, we were covered for our dream outdoor wedding and a gorgeous indoor one too, if it came to that. Some added bonuses along the way that we did not expect: how easy the team made it to execute our dream and leave no stone unturned during the wedding planning process. Throughout the year as I was planning decor and my vision for the day, it was incredibly helpful that the team was so active on social media. I got to see so many different examples of what past couples had done to customize the space for their wedding. It made it that much easier to narrow down my options and truly envision how it would look. Something I would have never known I needed was the built-in day of coordinator every Ashland couple gets for their wedding. We had the wonderful Amanda as our DOC and I was blown away by how she was able to set up all of our decor exactly how I wanted it. And then furthermore, when it came to packing up at the end of the night, it was done so quickly, with nothing left behind. Not to mention, the entire day went so smoothly, and I felt confident in what we were doing every step of the way. I really can't recommend this venue enough. 10/10

From day one as we toured the venue I was blown away at how detail-oriented and passionate she was about making the client’s dream wedding come to life. She works with trusted vendors, invests in quality programs to help you plan and stay on track in your process, and is always available to answer any & all questions. Not to mention she was incredibly kind and so fun to work with through this process. I truly did not have any worries on my wedding day because I knew Miranda was on top of it! The venue is STUNNING. Each section of the venue in itself is so beautiful that you do not even need much decor. The beauty of this place speaks for itself. You can tell how much thought has gone into each room & building. It is very accessibly friendly which was greatly appreciated for my guests who struggle with walking. There is a place for everything… wish you could stow away something out of guests sight? They have a place! Wish there was a place to hang your things in bathrooms/bridal suite? There’s a hook! Just so many little things that you do not think of until you need it. Just shows how much care and thought was put into this venue. We even had to make the call to move indoors on my wedding day due to rain and Miranda was so prepared and made the transition incredibly easy and made it equally as stunning. She truly is the best of the best. I cannot rave enough about my experience. Our special day was PERFECT and all my thanks goes to Miranda for making it all happen. If you are looking for a place that’s you can trust to have above & beyond service, that takes your vision seriously, and that you can trust to execute your wishes, look no further. I am so incredibly grateful for all her & her team’s hard work to make our day even more special. I do not have any professional pictures back just yet but here are a few that do not even begin to capture how stunning everything turned out. Thank you SO much!!! -Mr. & Mrs. Boak

Our wedding here was just perfect. Dawn had perfect clear communication with us throughout the entire planning process and just was such an amazing help to me. When we started looking for a venue we weren’t sure what our vision was, and we stumbled upon The View from a recommendation from a friend to look at Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens - so thankful we found this place! When we first reached out Dawn and Brian told us all of their plans for remodeling and creating a bridal suite etc and we trusted the process and saw their vision - which all came together beautifully. We comfortably had 165 guests, were able to have our ceremony outside :) and had so much fun. Dawn was also our day of coordinator - she really can do anything. Everything went incredibly smooth, and she was the biggest help. This woman is just so sweet and genuinely cares about her couples - which is evident through every aspect of the planning process and how she executed the wedding day as well. The required vendors were amazing to work with and fairly priced. We were able to rent items from the design shop to really add to our day. Could not recommend more highly! We just had the most perfect day.

Words cannot describe how perfect our wedding day was at Graystone Farms. Kai and Maddie were absolutely incredible in making our day as special as it can be. As soon as we arrived to view the venue, we fell in love and knew this is where we wanted to get married. Kai was incredible with suggestions and communication. Kai helped with catering suggestions and other accommodations as well. We could not have asked for a better venue, pictures and memories that were made. To top it off, a friendship was built with Kai and we will forever be grateful for going above and beyond with her staff to make sure our day was perfect. If we were to do it all over again, Graystone Farms would be our first choice every time!

Our sister found this place and did a virtual tour and from the very first moment we saw Lauxmont Farms, we knew this place was special, but what we experienced exceeded every expectation we had. The venue is undeniably breathtaking, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and genuinely invested in our day. The decorator went above and beyond in ways I’ll never forget, hanging décor from the tent ceiling and making our vision come to life with such care. Our day-of coordinator, Ally, and our attendant, Brandon, were incredible. They were attentive, calm, thoughtful, and detail oriented in every possible way. From our first visit to our final moments on the property on our wedding day, we felt supported, cared for, and truly celebrated. Lauxmont didn’t just host our wedding, it gave us an experience we will cherish for a lifetime. If I could give more than five stars, I would. 1000/10.

We had the BEST experience with having our wedding here. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and there are so many great options for ceremony spaces. It is also the perfect venue for any type of weather - rain or shine there is no stressing about your wedding day. The getting ready bridal suite was so spacious and beautiful. Dawn and Brian are the nicest people and their staff was exceptional. Having the “prop shop” is such a plus - we live out of state and didn’t have to worry about buying and bringing in all of our decor and furniture because it is all there for you! This venue is so organized with the planning process and know exactly how to make your day run smoothly. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property and landscaping was. Having their preferred vendors list was also so nice because each vendor already knew how to best set up for the space. Communication with each person at this venue is prompt and they truly want to help you make your day happen the way you want it to. I am so grateful we chose to get married at Stoltzfus and HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone considering. Best choice we made!!
