Bridal Trial During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day. Wedding Day! On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness. My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day. “You cannot go wrong with Primped! I had Lindsay for makeup and Allie for hair - they were wonderful! They did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my mom’s hair. I cannot say enough about how great they both were! We were able to meet and do a trial before the wedding to discuss the look I wanted both in terms of makeup and hair, and they both ensured I was completely comfortable with the end results. All of the other women who had their hair and makeup done loved the end result. Allie and Lindsay were both excellent about ensuring everyone had as much or as little "extra" in their makeup or hair. For instance, my mother-in-law is not as comfortable with a lot of glamour, so Lindsay and Allie were great about ensuring her hair and makeup were more natural compared to some of the others. They are both also just such kind people who were a welcome addition to our morning of getting ready - everyone had rave reviews for them. Primped is a wonderful company with great people who work for them. I went in to my bridal makeup and hair trial having an idea of what I wanted, but no idea on how best to execute. Betsey took the reigns and worked with my skin to achieve an exceptional look. Her team was incredible with hair too! Giving feedback has always been a little challenging for me, but calling Betsey up a few months before the wedding to discuss some changes to make was no issue. Amanda was the artist I worked with and I can’t say enough great things about her! Working with her for our engagement photos and my wedding HMU trial, she took the time to ask detailed questions and fully understand what I wanted/the look I was going for. She was great at communicating and providing a safe space for me to give feedback on what I liked/didn’t like, took detailed notes and photos, and made sure I loved the final result. On the day of my wedding, she was such a calming presence and helped me through the roller coaster of emotions you have as you’re getting ready for your wedding. She made me feel comfortable, listened to feedback, and made sure I was completely happy with my final look. We just got our photos back and I am obsessed with how my hair and makeup turned out and how it lasted all day! I can’t recommend Amanda enough for her skills but also her as a person!
