Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

At Bittersweet Gardens, I feel so lucky to do what I love: growing beautiful flowers and turning them into stunning wedding designs that tell your love story. As a farmer-florist with over 25 years of experience, I’ve learned how to cultivate blooms that perfectly reflect the magic and emotion of each special day. It’s a true joy to grow these flowers from the ground up—quite literally! But what truly makes this work special is getting to meet so many wonderful couples. Hearing your stories, understanding your vision, and bringing it all to life through flowers is an honor I treasure with every wedding.

I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
