The Susie Hansen Latin Band is a popular and well-known Southern California band playing 100 to 150 weddings, special events, concerts and festivals every year. Our specialty is Latin dance music - salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata, bolero, and cha cha cha.  If you'd like popular music, we can also play disco, swing, R&B, funk, Motown, classic rock and jazz standards like Frank Sinatra. We have three terrific lead singers -- our vocalist/conga player who sings lead on all the Latin styles; Susie on electric violin and bilingual vocals; our electric guitarist who sings lead vocals in English. We also have keyboards, bass, and drums/vocals.

Juilliard-trained, award-winning pianist Paulina Simkin brings world-class artistry to weddings and upscale events. A Fulbright Fellow and Young Steinway Artist, she has performed at Carnegie Hall and toured across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. (Jane + Jon) Our Story Together we bring you 20+ years of experience in having and creating fun, and YU & US was created as an embodiment of our partnership today. Co-Founder and DJ, Jon has a passion for finding and playing the best tunes, which is the winning combination any client would want for their special occasion. We have planned and DJed many clients’ weddings and events, but it wasn’t after we planned our own wedding in November 2018 that we understood the true stressful reality of planning. Because of this and because we own this business together, we empathize with the strain wedding planning sometimes puts on engaged couples.

Formed in 2006, the Organic String Quartet (OSQ for short) is a professional ensemble that has been providing live music for events in Southern California for over 18 years, and during that time has amassed a vast and diverse catalog of songs. OSQ is known for the wide variety of music they perform, and can easily alternate between multiple genres of music: Classical, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Soundtrack, and more. He sings fresh takes on cover songs from a range of artists: Alicia Keys, John Mayer, The Killers, Muddy Waters, The Beatles, Bill Withers, Leon Bridges, Sam Cooke, and many more. Chris plays acoustic and electric guitar, piano, and harmonica. In 2020, he was the winner of The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart. He has 10 years of experience performing at weddings, corporate events, music venues, restaurants, and private parties.
