My husband and I worked with Paul for both our engagement session and wedding. Knowing nothing about CIP, we decided to work with them due to the affordability of their wedding packages and ample portfolio photos. It was important to us that we found someone who could capture both the sappiness and the goofiness of our relationship, and Paul nailed it. Not only was he personable and entertaining, he also knew exactly what he was doing. He asked us the right questions prior to the big day and made sure we knew what to expect, and he slid very easily into the role of MC, which made the event run so much smoother. Not only that, but the turnaround time for photos was FAST, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! I have nothing but praise for Paul and the CIP team and am so thankful we got the pleasure of working with them.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at The Inn at Leola Village! From start to finish, everything was seamless, and our wedding weekend was more magical than we could have imagined. Stephanie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, so flexible, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. On the day of, she kept everything running smoothly and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment without stress. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful floral arrangements and how gorgeous the entire property was. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to host our entire wedding weekend in one place — rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, reception, and brunch. Having on-site accommodations was such a huge bonus for us and our guests, and it made the entire weekend feel so relaxed and cohesive. The food was also out of this world. From the hors d’oeuvres to the entrees, every dish was fantastic. And the cake — made on-site at their bakery — was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the food was, which made us so happy. We also loved using their salon and spa for hair and makeup on the wedding day. Working with Helianthus and Lace was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I love flowers, and I knew I wanted them to be a big part of our day, but it was also very important to me that I could source florals as sustainably as possible. As soon as I met Amanda, I could see her passion for creating beautiful designs with local blooms, and bringing visions to life. I could tell off the bat that she cares deeply about the couples she works with, and her thorough questions made me confident that she would execute my vision perfectly. Amanda had clear communication throughout our time working together and was quick to answer emails whenever I had a question. One thing I also loved was her invoicing system- she sent over one link to the invoice which would automatically update whenever we made changes. It’s a small detail, but it was incredibly helpful to know that I was always looking at the most updated version of our invoice (not digging through my emails and searching through multiple attachments) to keep track of costs. On the day, I nearly cried when I saw my bouquet it was so beautiful. Due to the weather, there was some back and forth figuring out where our ceremony would be held. Amanda worked with our coordinator and venue staff and came up with great solutions to repurpose the flowers for the outdoor ceremony site. I really appreciated her flexibility and ability to think on her feet to make the indoor space feel just as magical. Her work really elevated the room and gave the exact vibe that I was hoping for. So many of our guests raved and said they’d never seen flowers like ours at a wedding. I cannot recommend enough working with Amanda for your wedding. She really puts her heart and soul into her work, and feels like a friend through the planning process. If I had to do it again I’d choose her every time!!

We had the BEST experience with having our wedding here. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and there are so many great options for ceremony spaces. It is also the perfect venue for any type of weather - rain or shine there is no stressing about your wedding day. The getting ready bridal suite was so spacious and beautiful. Dawn and Brian are the nicest people and their staff was exceptional. Having the “prop shop” is such a plus - we live out of state and didn’t have to worry about buying and bringing in all of our decor and furniture because it is all there for you! This venue is so organized with the planning process and know exactly how to make your day run smoothly. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property and landscaping was. Having their preferred vendors list was also so nice because each vendor already knew how to best set up for the space. Communication with each person at this venue is prompt and they truly want to help you make your day happen the way you want it to. I am so grateful we chose to get married at Stoltzfus and HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone considering. Best choice we made!!

Hiring Hannah and her AMAZING team was hands down the best decision I made as a bride! From Day 1, Hannah was caring, responsive, personable and VERY organized! They guided me and the bridal party whenever we needed direction (and we needed a lot!) and lovingly advised me when I just couldn’t bear to make another decision. There was absolutely nothing that they weren’t willing to do; they made sure I didn’t get wet when the skies opened up as soon as we got to the church and even bustled my wedding gown at the reception!! I’ve had Lissa do my makeup a few times for different bridal photoshoots that I modeled in and OMG- every single time I felt absolutely beautiful! Lissa used her creative freedom to do what she does best and every single time it was flawless. I wear makeup daily but very minimal and even though she applied a full face, it still felt very light and I still felt like myself! The lashes were comfortable, my skin looked flawless and she put just the right amount of shadow on my eyes to allow them to pop! Highly recommend Lissa for your wedding or for any photoshoot!!! We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise. When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. We couldn't agree more that Melhorn Manor was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we have the incredible team to thank for all the hard work, attention to detail, and love that went into making this the wedding of our dreams. We, and our families and loved ones, will truly cherish the memory of this day for a lifetime. We are so grateful to have had the absolute joy of working with Allory, Jess, and the entire Melhorn Manor team. They were enthusiastic, thoughtful, kind, and so organized at every step of the way. This review has taken forever to write because there are so many wonderful things we want to say about Historic Ashland. When we first started venue hunting, we spent so much time trying to simply get responses to tour requests. We live over an hour from Wrightsville, and my mother lives two hours away, so trying to schedule a tour without being ignored for days by a venue was starting to seem nearly impossible. When we came across HA, we crossed our fingers and sent a message. We got a response before I could even lock my phone, and a tour scheduled in less than 5 minutes. And that basically describes how the rest of wedding planning went for us thanks to their detailed planning guide, which includes a list of preferred vendors, a rental guide for decorations, a timeline for the wedding day, and more. Leah and Amanda always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. From that moment until our wedding day in October 2024, we knew we were in good hands and couldn’t go wrong with the rest of the decisions we had to make. The property itself is stunning, and it was so nice to have various locations to utilize, from getting ready to all the different ceremony locations. Really our hardest decision was where to have the ceremony. We truly have HA to thank for our wedding planning process being so smooth. The entire HA team went above and beyond to make our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. You hear nightmares about how something always goes wrong on a wedding day. The HA team handled absolutely everything for us. All we had to do was show up. Not one thing went wrong. We still have guests texting us to talk about how beautiful the entire day was. Everything was perfect and we cannot thank Leah, Amanda, and the entire team enough. I will recommend this venue to anyone that wants to listen. I hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as a guest. Not that we need an excuse to go back because Leah is such a gem.

Wendy turned what could've been a disaster into a dream wedding! We made the mistake of thinking we could plan our own wedding, and booked a venue on our own. We quickly got overwhelmed with everything else and hired Wendy; she took one look at our venue contract and advised us to reconsider -- we were going to double or triple our total budget by bringing in all the amenities that the venue *didn't* have. With only 3.5 months before The Big Day, we had to pivot! She used her vast contact list and knowledge of area venues to find us the perfect venue - we viewed it and contracted it within the week. We had a lot of unique elements in mind; she helped us retrofit them from the original venue into the new one, so we were still able to have the wedding we'd always imagined. No idea was too big or too wild; she was always confident it could be done. She responded within minutes to any communication, no matter the day or time. Her years of experience shown through -- she always was able to advise us or provide a solution. And with such a short timeline to pull everything together, she kept us on track and honest without adding to our anxiety, remaining positive and helping us keep the end goal in mind: OUR day! Wendy saved us! We couldn't recommend her more strongly!

Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

I was lucky enough to have a DJ test drive with Travis & Red Tie Entertainment at a friend’s wedding so I already knew he’d be my preferred DJ when the day came. Travis is a timely communicator and made the planning process easy with a user-friendly portal. His package options allowed us to put together quite the production! The music, LED DJ booth, intelligent lighting, cold sparks, and uplighting created the perfect romantic atmosphere which quickly turned into quite the dance party (not complete without foam glow sticks!) The photo-booth was enjoyed by all and I loved the option for guests to send photos to their phones. Guests raved about LED DJ booth which displayed photos during our special dances. It added a personal touch and evoked emotions. I highly recommend Red Tie Entertainment…I would hire their team 100x over!
