My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. We did not use Jennifer for our engagement pictures, so I knew I was taking a risk when hiring her as our wedding day photographer. She was attentive to our needs as a couple, made lots of great photo recommendations, and did not push us to do any pictures/poses we weren't into. She was discreet during the ceremony and captured lots of wonderful group shots at the reception. A week before the event she was happy to add on a few additional hours from our original contract.
