“Working with George Street was such a wonderful experience. They made everything about the process easy and manageable. From our very first conversation with them, they were incredibly friendly and amenable - willing to work with us regarding our budget and offered packages not based on how they could get the most amount of money from us, but on how their packages would help us execute our vision of the perfect wedding. However, where George Street really shines is in their team. We chose Jeremy as our lead photographer and he brought such a joy and passion to the photos that he took. We had chosen a rather unique venue for our engagement session (one without the best lighting to be fair) and he took such care in crafting each shot so that we both looked our best, but also popped against the background. You could tell while he was taking every photo that it was not about getting the next shot and moving on, but that he cared about getting the right shot for you. That kind of care extends to the rest of their team as well. Nora and Emily were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They responded to almost every email within 48 hours of sending and anytime we had a question about anything, no matter how small, they were more than happy to walk us through it either via email or by hopping on the phone. Their user portal for creating a wedding plan is also very user-friendly and was helpful in determining important moments to capture during the night as well as the best way to structure our wedding in terms of timeline. In terms of the actual wedding day, we had Mario as an associate photographer and Randy as our videographer in addition to Jeremy. Once again, all three made us feel like we were absolute stars. For Randy in particular, he was seemingly everywhere at once. If there was something happening on the dance floor or a moment of revelry happened anywhere, he somehow captured it. The process of receiving the photos & videos afterward was also much quicker than anticipated and they were stunning. We had such a hard time choosing what photos would go into the album. Overall, this was an incredible team to work with and if we were to do it all again, they would be our first choice.”

Upon booking Windy City Glam, I also had the pleasure of being in contact with Catherine the founder who was always so accessible, kind, and professional. She set me up with a trial with Celeste prior to my wedding and she and Celeste took detailed notes about my vision for my wedding day look. I appreciate that they were both very receptive to feedback which made me feel heard, felt, and seen as a bride. You can tell Catherine/Windy City glam care deeply about their brides and desired wedding day looks. Beyond the trial Catherine and Celeste even gave me recs on lashes to play around with wearing since I was so new to them! I thought I had a lash allergy and Catherine suggested we do a little test on my skin. It was at that point that I learned it was lash glue I was allergic to and not lashes! They made sure to have special non-adhesive glue for me on my wedding day and I was so happy to wear lashes which heightened my look! It is the care and attention such as that, which made Windy City Glam such a joy to work with. Our makeup artist Celeste, did an incredible job on my bridesmaids, mother, and my make up. Celeste perfectly enhanced our natural diverse beauty while ensuring each look was timeless and elegant. She was so kind and patient and I could not have asked for a better artist to work with on a wedding day which can feel a bit nerve wracking. I felt myself and my party were in really good hands the entire time which was such a gift. Celeste really made sure to check in with all of us as she was doing our makeup to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. “We just had our wedding at Chicago Winery in December and it was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful and speaks for itself - very little decor needed. It's particularly beautiful for a fall/winter "dinner party" vibe (which is what we were looking for) with the dark wood and dim lights. Chris was our venue coordinator and he was amazing - answering our million questions and helping make the day go exactly as we hoped! The food was also amazing - even better than the tasting which was a delight :) We had SO many guests come up to us raving about the space and the food, which is all you could hope for! Highly highly recommend Chicago Winery!”

The Walden team is very organized and helped us stay on top of things. They were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. The food and drinks were incredible - everything was delicious and the portions were huge! 95% of our wedding guests do not live in Chicago, including us, and we have had so much feedback from our family and friends about how much they loved the entire wedding. From decision making to day-of, Krystle and Ally were there for us and answered any questions we had. I would 10000% recommend this venue to everyone looking.”

“Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with both before and on our wedding day. He was prompt in answering emails and any questions I had leading up to the big day. He worked with me on planning a timeline of the day and asking for specific details we made sure we wanted to be filmed. Day of he was earlier than expected which was great! He was friendly and super enthusiastic about the work he was doing. He went out of his way to make sure he captured the most special moments of our wedding and went above and beyond. After our wedding, we got back our raw footage within a matter of days and a quick response in regards to our highlight video. “I cannot remember how exactly I found Glow Bridal Co, but I remember loving how understanding Tricia was when I did not respond right away due to being so overwhelmed with wedding planning. I was happy how willing she was to do another trial if I felt was needed (although i did not end up doing another one and I was happy with how i looked on my wedding day). I had a total of 5 people for makeup & 7 people for hair, not including myself. I do not remember the exact pricing, but I felt like they were reasonably price. The most important thing is I felt beautiful with my hair and makeup. The only thing I did not like was that Tricia and Paola left the hotel the day of my wedding without checking to see if I needed anything touched up one last time. My mom and I had stepped away for a few minutes, and, when we came back, they were gone. Thankfully, I did not realize this until after my wedding day, and I think i was fine, but i do think they should have checked with me before leaving. Overall, I am happy with the service I received & would recommend them for hair & makeup”

He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
