Hey there 👋🏼 I’m Makenzie, but everyone calls me Kenz or Kenzie! I started off filming with a small digit camera or my flip phone (lol) in junior school, making "music videos" with my family and friends. Overtime it expanded to filming weddings (on a much upgraded camera) and then eventually taking on the challenge of doing both photo and video. Every session when capturing true emotion and love between couples and/or families, it brings me joy knowing that these physical memories will be with them forever!

Tales of Woo is an LA-based wedding videography company specializing in cinematic storytelling. Led by a team of expert videographers, we’re on a mission to create sacred souvenirs for one of life’s most momentous occasions: two kindred souls committing to a shared journey through eternity.

Wedding videography all started with making short films with friends in college and realizing how much I love the process of producing video content. I often fell into the producer role, having a hand in every area of production which taught me so much and has led me down the path of pursuing video content creation all on my own. Although not nearly as exhilarating as filming through the night or in the heat of a desert on a cliff with incredibly talented friends pushing each other to learn and grow, I still get to experience the pre-production, production, and post-production of a film shoot.
