“Richard Krutick is special. A special talent as well as a special man. He captured it! The day after our wedding he sent me a teaser gallery of what was to come. I was blown away. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him. My guests were saying what a warm and great guy he is. He got their personalities, each and every one of them. He looks at everything with a special eye. “Allyse was amazing, to say the least. My husband and I got married on July 4th and wanted to incorporate fireworks into our event somehow. Our venue wouldn’t allow it for safety reasons(understandable) so we talked to Allyse and decided to do a first look a few nights before with fireworks. The photos from the first look were amazing! We started during daylight and they captured everything perfectly. But let me tell you, the way the photos with the fireworks came out was STUNNING!!! Only a true professional could have done what they did! Allyse and her husband did a fantastic job snapping everything moment of our wedding and catching some of the sweetest memories that I can cherish forever- including my 80 year old grandmother holding my 3 month old son! I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light.
