She was easy to talk to and has a casual style that I appreciate, while still guiding us through the process and making sure we were on track with scheduling, deciding on details for the day, etc. Of all of our vendors, she was by far the most organized. The quality of her work is simply gorgeous and she managed to make us look much cooler than we really are! She captured all the candid moments we had hoped for, and we were amazed at how quickly she got through our posed photos so we could just enjoy the rest of our wedding day. My dad even commented, "Wow, I don't know when you guys had time to get all of these!" after seeing the gallery. We also had a laundry list of family/wedding party pairings and we got through them all promptly after the ceremony, without a ton of fuss, which is exactly as we'd requested. She pulled us aside after dinner when the sun was at the perfect height to get a few more photos, and they're some of my favorites despite only taking us away from the party for about 5 minutes. The preview gallery came SO fast (I believe it was within a day or two) and the pics were just amazing. She was so accommodating of anything we wanted to do, and also had suggestions whenever we weren't sure what we wanted. I also requested to get a couple photos before our final gallery was done so that my mom could use them for Christmas cards and she was so accommodating of that request and sent them right away. “Where do I start with Lacie and Tim?!? Lacie was the first vendor I booked and for a good reason, it took one call and that was it - I knew she would be perfect for our wedding day. My husband and I have always been photo-shy and have often took awkward photos, and had a fear this would happen during our wedding day. There was never a moment that Lacie did not know what to do or what to suggest. We never had to think about it. What I believe contributes to Lacie's photo magic is she is an amazing person, incredibly easy to talk to and a joy to be around, and makes you feel confident and comfortable - we realized during photos it was like we were gabbing and being around one of our friends, and this distracted us from the fact and anxiety that we were actually taking a photo. Not only did this make taking photos fun, but it captured a lot of great candid moments and the photos felt natural and not overly staged. On wedding day, they were on top of it - timely, organized, and efficient. They were also incredibly supportive while we were both pretty anxious. They also give your sneak peaks freaky fast. We have already seen a few of them, and they look straight out of a magazine. Our standard bearer of all wedding themed films, is the 1991 remake of Father of the Bride, starring Steve Martin and Martin Short. It’s an homage to George’s meltdown in the grocery store over the hot dog to bun ratio in packaging. It’s a classic, watch it. We could give you some song and dance about how it’s also symbolic in a belief that quality imagery is an important part of your wedding, but really and truly, the movie’s just that good.
