Portland, ME
  • Planner
  • Offers 3 services
  • Starts at $3,500

With over 10 years of experience we aim to bring a fun, stress-free approach to the planning process, allowing you to stay present and fully enjoy your engagement. From managing logistics, helping you find your dream venue, or incorporating personal touches that showcase your unique love story- we’ve got your back through it all!

Working with Sarah was an absolute dream. Planning a beach wedding in Maine while living in Florida felt overwhelming at first, but Sarah made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She is so organized, thoughtful, and proactive! She’s truly everything you could want in a wedding planner. One of the biggest challenges we faced was finding the right beach that wouldn’t be too impacted by high tide. Sarah went above and beyond. She is local, so she was able to offer a wonderful spot and ultimately helped us secure the most beautiful, cinematic beach setting we could have ever imagined. It was perfect in every way, and our day would not have been the same without her guidance. On top of that, Sarah offered to help with anything and everything on the wedding day itself from moving chairs to paying vendors so we could just enjoy the moment. That kind of support is priceless. We are so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and dedication. Thank you, Sarah, for making our dream wedding a reality! We can’t recommend Petal & Pine highly enough.

We worked with Tiny Laser for our wedding, choosing the 30-days out coordination option. Julianne helped us cross all the Ts as we approached the day. We had a general sense of how we wanted everything to go, but she asked us all the right questions, offering details we hadn't thought of. The result was a perfectly smooth wedding. If there were hiccups, we didn't know about them! Julianne and Jose went above and beyond from the rehearsal dinner on, helping to set up our linens, and figuring out how we'd get down the aisle. At the wedding, Julianne checked in on us throughout, making sure we ate, and got sweaters when it got cooler. She was considerate, polite, and calm. We so appreciate all the work Tiny Laser put in to make our day!

Portland, Maine based Champagne Casanova got into the music business for all of the right reasons: they love to put on a show, connect with their audience and have a great time! With their decades of combined performing and gigging experience, your event is in the right hands. Specializing in Modern Pop, '90's Alternative, Indie-Rock, Pop-Punk and Country, the band covers a wide selection of just the that songs you and your guests want to hear. When it comes to live music, live sound and a reception that will be a party to remember, they are the only call you're going to have to make.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring CC was one of the best wedding decisions we made! From the beginning, Dan was super responsive and clear about the band’s style, availability and price. After booking, Dan was great about answering questions and keeping in touch about song requests, timeline and other important wedding items. If you’re looking for a band that you would want to dance and sing along with at a fun bar or party, on top of being extremely talented musicians, these are your people. They also understand weddings and are willing to take on fun challenges. They took the time to successfully pull off many requests such as: - My requests and timing for the ceremony music which included acoustic renditions of Harvest Moon, With a Little Help from my Friends and Here, There, and Everywhere. They also take care of the sound systems and mic set up for the ceremony. - An amazing live rendition of Touch Me by The Doors for our reception entrance - Another amazing live rendition of Come Sail Away by Styx for our first dance which transitioned into open dance floor for all guests - Helping me pull off a surprise outfit change/re entrance into the party which included allowing me to join the band to sing Just A Girl by No Doubt. My guests had nothing but great things to say about CC and applauded their crowd work and musical talent. I also highly recommend paying to add on the sax player. They were AMAZING and added the perfect touch. Overall, Champagne Casanova is completely worth it for your wedding. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

Portland, ME
  • Photographer

  • Starts at $5,000

Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. Being in front of the camera isn’t my favorite thing either. I will be here to guide you and prompt you the whole way, I promise.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Jenna. She was more than we could have hoped for in a photographer. She made our day so at ease and took great care of us! We had a destination wedding and had never been to Maine before our wedding week. Jenna had so much knowledge to help with finding a location, timing of the day, and even giving recommendations for our honeymoon. She was a calm presence and her joy and excitement for us on our wedding day was contagious. We are so thankful and think her skills and talent speak for themselves. We’re in love with our entire wedding gallery and cannot wait to re-live this day over and over again.

Bethany and Dan Photography

5.0

Portland, ME
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,400

Our first kiss was on the beach, under a star-filled sky, on my favorite island, only home to shells, bioluminescent creatures, and wild horses. Soon after, as two very young humans (21 and 23), we were married. As newlyweds we set off on an adventure, kayaking from Maine to Key West. On that trip, we realized how much we valued spending all our time together and being in charge of our schedule. This business is how we live out that dream.

Bethany and Dan Photography were the perfect photographers for our wedding day. From our first interaction, their communication was clear, consistent, and friendly, putting us at ease immediately. The quality of their work was truly stunning - they captured the most interesting and intimate moments throughout the day in a way that felt like they were part of the family. Bethany and Dan made us and all of our guests feel so comfortable, allowing us to feel in control of our special day. We cannot recommend Bethany and Dan Photography more highly - they were an absolute pleasure to work with and the photos they delivered are ones we will cherish forever.

I believe your wedding should feel like you! That means it’s absolutely okay to mix EDM with metal, bring rave-level energy to the dance floor & play all the punk rock you forgot you loved. You don’t need to change what you love just to fit inside some predetermined idea of how a wedding is “supposed” to work. Want to headbang? Want to rave? You’re in the right place.

Robert was one of the BEST choices we made for our 2024 wedding! From our first phone call, we knew he was special and would help make our day amazing. His attention to detail, his go with the flow attitude, and comedic timing as an MC made our guests feel comfortable and kept them on the dance floor. We made several changes in the moment and Robert was able to execute perfectly. JD.FMV

5.0

Portland, ME
  • Videographer
  • Cinematic style
  • Starts at $1,500

I have been producing short films for 8 years. I work with couples from Maine and New England to produce and edit wedding films that tell their unique stories. My areas of practice include theatre, photography, filmmaking, and livestreaming. My favorite part of my job is collaborating with local DJs, photographers, caterers, and filmmakers!

Working with this videographer was an absolute standout experience. His eye for cinematic storytelling is next level. He didn’t just capture moments, he elevated them. Every frame was intentional, every cut had purpose, and the final film felt like something you’d see on the big screen, not just in a wedding album. What impressed me most was his ability to blend artistry with authenticity. From the emotional pacing to the way he used natural light, he brought the energy of the day to life without ever feeling staged or forced. As a DJ who works with a lot of creatives, I can confidently say his talent is rare. If you’re looking for someone who will go beyond documenting your wedding and actually craft a film that feels deeply personal and visually stunning, you’ve found your guy. The work speaks for itself.

Wintertide Floral

5.0

Portland, ME
  • Florist
  • Starts at $3,500

My foundation in floral design began on a small flower farm in Vermont over 10 years ago, where I immersed myself in the full lifecycle of the work—planting, harvesting, and arranging blooms directly from the field. That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.

Jenny’s florals for my wedding were an absolute dream, she completely nailed my vision within my budget and I couldn’t have gone with a better florist. Her work is stunning and I received non-stop compliments on her beautiful and unique arrangements. She totally understood my color scheme and vibe, and everything, especially the bridal bouquet, was perfection!! And to top it all off, Jenny is a wonderful and kind person to work with. 110% recommend!

Crispy Gai is a Thai-inspired fried chicken restaurant and food truck based in the heart of Portland, Maine known for bold flavors and crave-worthy crunch. Our food truck offers two flexible service styles to fit any vibe—window service with a limited menu of fan favorites, or a buffet-style setup featuring some of the most popular dishes from our brick-and-mortar restaurant. From fiery dipping sauces to crowd-pleasing sides, every dish is packed with flavor and made to satisfy. At Crispy Gai, we’re all about good food, good energy, and creating memorable food experiences wherever we go.

Where to begin!? Wow wow wow was Crispy Gai the highlight of our wedding day. From the start, Nikki greeted us with such an energetic, exciting and fun vibe that we knew it was meant to be. She was communicative, accommodating and flexible to meet our needs and worked with us to create a unique and delicious menu, which also provided options for all allergies!! Now- for the food itself.. mouthwatering. The guests have been ranting and raving over it ever since! So many of our guests loved it SO much they now enjoy going to their restaurant in Portland (which, of course, we regularly attend also!). Crispy Gai had such a hands-off approach which is what my husband and I were looking for. They had all the utensils, plates, napkins..etc. and kept their window open for 4 hours serving our guests at their leisure- we didn’t have to worry about a thing! At the end of their time with us, the team kindly wrapped my husband and me up a goody bag with such an array of leftovers to take home with us that we enjoyed our second dinner reminiscing on how amazing the day was! Highly highly highly recommend Crispy Gai! They were so much fun to have with us, the food- amazing, the communication and planning process was made so easy because of them. Gosh. I could go on and on. Such an unforgettable experience and our day wouldn’t have been what it was without them!

Everything about Ri Ra was amazing! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a restaurant setting reception or event. We had a small ceremony at Portland City Hall with our immediate family and then had our reception upstairs at Ri Ra with about 100 guests. We rented out the entire upstairs space. The location is beautiful, with a great view of the water and boats. Most of our guests stayed at the Hilton across the street, so they were able to walk to the reception and everyone commented on how great of a location in Portland it was. The upstairs is already beautifully decorated so we just had tealight votives and bud vases with flowers for decor on the tables. We were also able to have a mix of large and small tables for dinner, which ended up working out great for us as opposed to each table having the same number of guests. The events manager, Tara, was great to work with from the moment we inquired and booked the space. She was always very helpful, communicative and friendly. The rest of the staff were also so friendly and did an amazing job at the event. They were constantly checking in with guests at dinner and the bar ran smoothly the entire night. As far as food goes, everything was delicious! So many of our guests told us they had great meals and were very impressed with the food. We had passed appetizers for cocktail hour and salad/dinner was served family style, the serving were generous and we had plenty of food. Most of our guests that needed food accommodations were vegan and gluten free, and many of our food choices already met that criteria, but Ri Ra was also very accommodating to other allergies, even with serving dinner family style. We did hire a wedding coordinator for the day of to help set up/break down decor for us, make sure our timeline ran smoothly and to coordinate with our DJ and photographer day of, which I would recommend for a larger event.
