I had the privilege of working with Erika and Ryan of the Greatest Adventure for not one but two weddings! The first, an elopement during the pandemic in June (we used her for day of coordination), and the second a full wedding in December (we used her for full planning). Divorce sucks, but you know what doesn’t? Having the certainty the second you got engaged again that you needed Erika hired before anyone else. Having done this process twice, I can say with full confidence that Erika has the best recommendations for vendors, some I got to work with twice! Planning a wedding can be so challenging and she simplifies things for you based on what your vision is. Erika is the reason your wedding day will not only be amazingly beautiful, but also enjoyable for you too! We got married in a snow storm and I spent the morning of the wedding grooving out to music with my HMU artist and eating breakfast by the fireplace while everything else was getting taken care of. Do you want to worry about coordinating a flower set up in a snow storm? How about making sure that your guests who have special dietary restrictions get their food? Or being the person that all vendors and family/friends can ask questions to while your head is literally spinning? At one point during our rehearsal she asked me a timeline question and I told her, “I’m going to need you to just tell me what to do every hour of this day”--and she did! She also was 100% supportive of our vision to get married outside in the snow in December on top of a mountain. I can’t tell you how many family members asked us how this would work, but it ended up being the most magical day! Erika will also be the reason why the lead up to your wedding will be stress-free. I graduated from grad school in the summer, put in an offer on a house in the fall, and hosted Thanksgiving for 20 people the week before the wedding. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked us how this was possible, I would be rich enough to pay Erika back for her services. Never, at any point during the planning process, was I stressed that things were not going to work out or get done. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Erika for all you do!

Shea proactively met with us multiple times in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding, offering thoughtful guidance on the flow of the day and how to make the best use of our event space. She also met with us at our venue the day before our wedding for a walkthrough and to meet with the site coordinator, and orchestrated our rehearsal with our families. When unexpected weather forced us to change our plans at the last minute, Shea handled everything with grace and efficiency. She figured out an alternate plan that made everything feel just as special as our original plan and worked seamlessly with our other vendors, many of whom she already had wonderful relationships with, to adjust the setup and keep the event on track. Beyond logistics, Shea went above and beyond in countless ways: she created charming signage and schedules we hadn’t even thought to request, connected us with fantastic bartenders, and helped us source vendors we would not have found on our own. Her expertise and calm problem-solving was invaluable. Shea and her team’s work on the day itself was phenomenal. They executed every detail with precision and professionalism, while making us feel like they were friends supporting us at our wedding. We could not have pulled off our wedding without them, and when we think back on that day, many of our favorite parts were orchestrated by them: from the seamless transition between beautifully set spaces in our last-minute weather plan, to the few minutes of calm alone time that Shea set up for us after our ceremony, complete with drinks and snacks waiting for us. Shea and her team even organized to bake a bunch of frozen pizzas for our after party before they left. Hiring Alpine Events was by far the best and easiest decision we made, and we remain deeply grateful for their expertise, dedication, and most of all kindness.

All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. I hired Zoe for day of coordination but she was instrumental to an amazing wedding day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, I would highly recommend!! On a day when you give your vendors complete trust, she made me feel super assured that everything would go smoothly and she would create a beautiful setting. She was such a calming presence on the day. I had help from my family in the wedding planning process but for day of coordination she helped in creating the timeline, ensuring it went smoothly, decor set up and breakdown, and much more. She’s involved heavily about a month before the wedding but she was very proactive in her duties even before then. On the wedding day when we strayed away from the timeline she was there coordinate with vendors and guests to make the transition so seamless our guests didn’t even notice. She had set up all of the decor and even went above and beyond to create a romantic setting. Her creative touch truly added a little magic. As a perfectionist sometimes she exceeded my expectations! She made everyone feel welcomed and relaxed on the day. She even picked up our florals the morning of to alleviate some of my stress, I’m so glad I went with Zoe and know anyone who works with her will leave with an amazing experience.

I started planning my wedding about six months in advance, but it wasn’t until a month and a half before the big day that I found Maggie—and that’s when everything suddenly became so much easier. Although she was technically hired as a “day-of coordinator,” what she did went far beyond that. From the very beginning, she helped me double-check every detail, followed up with vendors, and joined all of my vendor meetings. She always asked the important questions I wouldn’t have thought of myself, and whenever I forgot something we had previously discussed with a vendor, she would immediately pull up the details for me. I’ve told her many times that hiring her was the best investment of my entire wedding. She truly went above and beyond what her package described—she was a lifesaver. Maggie even offered to come with me to the venue walk-through, helped us organize our rehearsal, and pointed out all the details we should pay attention to. Thanks to her, by the time we were two weeks away from the wedding, everything was already under control and I could relax knowing all vendor communications were being handled. On the wedding day itself, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing—I was able to simply enjoy the day. Maggie is by far the best coordinator I’ve ever met, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any of my friends who are looking for a wedding coordinator.

The balloon arch photo booth was a huge hit with our guests! We loved when the little ones played with giant balloons on the dancefloor all night, what great videos we have! Every detail was handled with care and creativity, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment. It was magical. I seriously could. not. recommend. her. enough. Bria was an absolute sweetheart and so quick to respond to any questions we had. Our day flowed so smoothly because of her. We were hesitant to invest into a coordinator, but with our wedding being out of state, we didn't want the stress. She made sure our dreams came true and handled any hiccups like a champ without me even realizing things went differently till after the day was over. During my planning process, she did not hesitate to help me with certain situations if they came up. She seriously was such a light and calm energy when we needed it. Don't want the stress and a positive influence on your big day? Hire her! If we had the budget we would have definitely hired her for more then just day-of.
