We hired a photographer and asked to book a second shooter for the day. We didn’t know Jessie before our wedding day, but she was so delightful! Jessie traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for us and photographed/filmed portions of our Kentucky Derby Museum wedding. Before the ceremony, Jessie was tasked with photographing my husband and the groomsmen. “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

We had an unfortunate cancellation of our original venue, and with our new venue having a completely different look, Ashley was a great thought partner in scouting locations and helping us achieve the look and feel in our photos that we were going for. Despite the challenges of a venue change and the usual wedding planning craziness, Ashley remained positive, resourceful, and was also just down right fun to work with! Ashley is a true artist, dedicated to the artful execution of every detail. Nothing felt cookie-cutter or ordinary—she took the time to understand our vision and how we wanted to remember the day and then actualized it through her artistic lens. I wanted something artful, chic, and elevated but also real, candid, and documentary-style—and Ashley delivered exactly that. She was also fantastic at understanding how we wanted to be photographed throughout the day. More than anything, she made sure our enjoyment of the day was a priority over just "getting the perfect shot," which was crucial for us. “If you're looking for a photographer for engagement pictures, a wedding photographer, or a photographer for any other occasion - stop looking! My fiance and I were visiting friends in AZ shortly after our engagement and we booked Maggie for an engagement shoot at sunset while we were there. To say that we are are OBSESSED with our pictures is an understatement. Maggie was so knowledgeable about the lighting at that time of day and utilized the whole landscape to get great pictures with different backgrounds, not JUST different poses from us. We didn't stay in the same spot during the session as she continued to create new angles to adjust to as the sun continued to set. I felt comfortable asking "hey can we try this!?" and Maggie was more than willing to get excited with us about capturing the kind of picture we had in our mind. Maggie also gave us alot of direction on how to maybe tilt our head, or move a hand over a little bit, or recognized that the shot wasn't going to be great so she just scratched it and moved to the next idea. This was extra helpful to me because I didn't have to "guess how to model" and I appreciated that she made good use of her and our time. Maggie works quickly to get a variety of poses and landscapes, is willing to travel, and seems to genuinely love what she does. Her excitement and direction made it fun and exciting for us too! 10/10 for our experience with Maggie!”
