I have always had a deep-rooted love for all things Mother Nature. My childhood passion led me to a MS in Conservation Biology, focusing on endangered species and ultimately sustainable agriculture. During that time, I fell in love with floral design. I truly enjoy working with my hands and being creative. I love combining the elements of Mother Nature in an enchanting and elegant way that creates a greater appreciation for our magnificent natural world. Combining my educational background with floral design, I strive to source as much locally grown and in-season products as possible, ultimately promoting a more sustainable floral industry!

My passion for floral design began in 2013. I had just moved to Memphis, TN to participate in a sustainable farming program. Working alongside flower farmers, I grew an immense appreciate for the beauty of flowers. For me, designing is like painting with flowers. Working with my clients to see that their vision comes to fruition is very important to me, as I know that planning a wedding can be stressful. Booking with me is clear and concise, and I promise that you will not have to stress about your flowers; my team and I will take extra care to ensure that your designs come to fruition.

I started working with wood flowers after I got married. I was disappointed by what the florist created for us,. I did not get the flowers I wanted for my wedding day. I learned about Sola wood flowers and started creating home decor and centerpieces initially to see how they would work, to test their sustainability. I fell in love with wood flowers! I am happy to offer brides florals they want for their wedding day, in the color story they desire, at an affordable price.

Folls' Flowers started in 1999 with the purchase of a 98 acre farm in the Finger Lakes of Central New York. Thea Folls and daughter Heather Walz planted and cared for one acre of flowers to begin and have expanded over the last twenty years to include many different trees, flowering shrubs, perennials, bulbs and annual flowers. We are adding a high tunnel to expand our harvest season in the spring and we are also planting hundreds of new flowering shrubs including hydrangeas, hollies, spirea, pussy willows, and evergreens.
