Pronounced like Eye-lish, I'm a Charlottesville, Virginia wedding photographer. I've been full-time in the industry for 5 years, and I love getting to memorialize weddings for my clients. I have experience in both photography and cinematography, which gives my images a uniquely timeless feel. Jack is a longtime Charlottesville-Albemarle resident, and currently lives in "downtown" Crozet. He's been a full time photographer in Charlottesville's wedding community for 20 years. Specialties include surprise engagements, and weddings ranging in size and complexity from elopements with a handful of guests, to multi-day celebrations with many hundreds of guests.

We are Amy & Jackson Smith, a husband and wife team, who met through photography. We fell in love and got married in our own backyard right here in Charlottesville. I’ve been a wedding photographer for 11 years, but I’ve been an artist since I could hold a pencil – and I’ve been in love with stories just as long. I'm a full-time freelance photographer, and have been photographing weddings since 2008. Risking understatement, I love being a photographer. When it comes to weddings, I photograph them in my favorite style -- journalistic. Nothing makes me happier than finding cool, off-the-wall moments at your wedding that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. Well, unless those moments happen to be in supreme sunset light. I try to be as hands-off as I can, while still providing direction when needed. Amanda Maglione opened her wedding photography business in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a ten-year career in NYC as a photojournalist, celebrity photographer, and photo editor. She brings this background to her wedding photography, and is known for her photojournalistic/documentary style. "Well balanced, highly skilled photographer. Charlottesville has been kind to us for the past 15 years. I started my photography business here and raised three sons (21, 17, 14) with my husband. I feel very lucky to make a living loving what I do, which can be photographing weddings, families, children, hospitals, real estate and non profit. I feel truly blessed.

Will, a Charlottesville native, is an award-winning photographer and owner of William Walker Photography since 2006. Will’s creative portraiture and photojournalism have a timeless style, capturing the feel of the day as well as dramatic centerpiece images. Serving central Virginia, including Richmond, and the Shenandoah Valley as well as the D.C. area. William Walker Photography also travels for destination weddings. The team consists of Will and his wife Jessica for most events. They are fun-loving, personable, and easy to work with.

I'm Kἅren (Car-In) I am a mother, a wife, and a lover of all things neutral I capture couples of all walks of life and genuinely capture you naturally loving on each other. I wear chunky sweaters, boots, and eat tacos all year round. My favorite thing to do on a Friday night is be out in a field capturing a couple. My drink of choice is coffee (HOT). I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years. I began my education at UVA, where I was an Echols scholar. Seeking a school with a greater focus on fine arts studio work, I transferred to the San Francisco Art Institute, where I earned a B.F.A. in Photography and Filmmaking. Throughout my career I have traveled and photographed extensively in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. I have visited and photographed more than 50 countries. I have founded 3 non-profit arts organizations: Live Arts Theater, Light House Studio, and LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph.

As a classically trained photographer I am both a technician and an artist. I approach photography as a means of artistic expression, but my first priority is always people—listening to them, capturing them as they truly are, and documenting their lives in a way that gives permanence to life’s most meaningful moments.
