“Professionalism** Botanical Florist demonstrated commendable professionalism during the initial stages of our planning. Amie was notably kind and cooperative, working flexibly with our budget and accommodating our needs. Her willingness to engage in multiple in-person meetings was greatly appreciated, as it showcased her dedication to understanding our vision. **Organization** While the initial planning was smooth, there were significant challenges with organization as the wedding day approached. A separate representative reached out to us directly and asked that we meet with her and provided very specific availability via a scheduling app. We picked times from the app and she canceled last minute on us twice. This issue necessitated our wedding planner taking over the communication with Botanical Florist. Additionally, the large wooden crate provided for transporting the flowers was cumbersome and difficult to manage, adding stress to the logistics of the day. **Communication** Communication was a mixed experience. Although Amy was flexible and responsive via text throughout the planning process, there were notable issues with communication closer to the wedding. We were disappointed when looking at our details photos as we were informed the details flower were delivered incorrect location. On the day of the wedding, the bride’s bouquet began to fall apart within 30 minutes. Despite these challenges, Amy’s flexibility and willingness to discuss details via text were helpful in addressing minor issues. **Flexibility** Throughout the design process, Amy at Botanical Florist showcased exceptional flexibility and professionalism. She was accommodating and supportive as we navigated through choices for ribbon types and flower varieties, ensuring that our preferences were met with the budget we provided. Her willingness to adjust and refine the details was crucial in achieving the desired outcome. On the wedding day, we were very pleased with the flowers, which closely matched the vision we provided. Amy’s adaptability was key to bringing our floral design to life.”

“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our wedding flowers because they worked well trying to fit our budget and gave us flexibility with our flowers. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
