We loved having our wedding at The Keeler Tavern! It was cozy, warm and intimate and the beautiful antique ambiance was just what we were looking for. Combined with the comparatively affordable price point for the area, choosing Keeler Tavern for our wedding was easy and we don’t regret it. We also appreciated the unique and affordable option to hire a Keeler Tavern Museum docent to give mini museum tours during our cocktail hour. (Our guests loved it!) Mary Ann (the point person at Keeler Tavern) was easy to work with and helped to answer all of our questions. It rained on our wedding day so we didn’t get to use the garden space for our ceremony as originally planned, but the patio tent was still a beautiful setting for the ceremony and the reception hall with all of its windows was lovely and cozy during the rainstorm. We would absolutely recommend Keeler Tavern as a venue for an intimate wedding in the Ridgefield area.

If you want a PARTY, book this venue. They have multiple rooms at this venue you can book depending on your headcount. We booked the Majestic Room on the top floor for 75 people. They also have the Swan Room that can fit over 150 people or something like that. The whole second floor was dedicated to our event. Here are some of the features it had that just makes sense functionally: we had a bridal suite that fit our whole bridal party and parents, an elevator since it was on the second floor, a grand staircase, our own bathrooms and bar separate from the downstairs area, a built-in dance floor, and a welcome landing. We had to bring minimal decorations, like centerpieces and such. They provide table settings, everything in the bar, name cards, and table numbers. We suggest finding a vendor for uplighting. Our DJ provided it for us and made the room look amazing. The food is fancy and delicious. In the days that followed our reception, we received compliments about the entrees and passed hors d’oeuvres. They are plated like an inspired high-end restaurant. We had an open bar and everyone was very pleased with the service. TLDR: these people know what they’re doing. The space is BUILT for weddings, not retrofitted, and it shows. The service is WHITE GLOVE and the food will impress your guests. Book this venue!

Working with the team at the Ethan Allen hotel was so easy. They made our special day as stress free as possible. Joseph was so responsive and helped with all of my questions throughout the process from start to finish. Minnie also was so great with getting the hotel room block set. The banquet manager Greg made everything run smoothly the day of. The space really transformed for our wedding and was so affordable for amazing quality. Food also was delish! Our photographer was also able to get some really beautiful photos inside and outside of the hotel for some really unique shots that we love! The Ethan Allen is your one place for everything !!

The Amber Room Colonnade was an amazing choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly clear, detailed, informative and helpful in ensuring every aspect of our special day went smoothly. The venue was beautifully organized, with everything ready for us when we got there. They even drove us around the property in a golf cart to make sure we could get to all the perfect photo spots, including the gorgeous sunset and water fountain that they turned on just for us. The food was excellent and delivered right on time, and our guests raved about the delicious chocolate fountain. We are so grateful to the Amber Room Colonnade team for making our wedding day truly amazing and unforgettable.

We chose the Courtyard Shelton for our wedding block this past September. It is freshly renovated with reasonable rates and many great options to host additional wedding events. We held our welcome party here and it was fantastic! The hotel can be hard to reach at times and I needed to send follow up emails often but everyone was very nice and our wedding weekend went smoothly!

We had such an incredible experience hosting our wedding at The Waterview! Ariel and Kat were such a pleasure to work with. Kat made sure to keep things on track the day of our wedding and her entire staff made sure anything we needed was taken care of. The venue itself is beautiful and we have received so many compliments on how it was one of the nicest venues many of our guests have ever been to. A Fairytale Wedding at Reid Castle. Everyone still raves about our wedding until now. We have searched far & high for a castle to have our wedding and Reid Castle was the only one that suited our needs; from a beautiful stain glassed chapel conveniently next door, a classic reception hall fit for royalty, gourmet food and excellent service. At first, I didn’t know how we were going to put it all together. Elena, Reid Castle Wedding Coordinator, gave us referrals and helped us plan our event from ceremony, cocktail hour to our reception. It was flawless. We had a wonderful florist, internationally renowned violinist, Daisy Jopling, pianist, saxophonist, DJ/MC and most importantly...our family. We are happy with where we chose. It was amazing and one of a kind! Hoping to celebrate more events at Reid Castle. Remember to enjoy your big day and leave the rest to the Pros.

We had our wedding at Villa Barone Manor, and it was an absolute dream from start to finish! I was at Baingan for my niece’s birthday! The birthday was an outdoor event and Baingan has the perfect outdoor space for it! You have a scenic view and can see the water! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! The food and drinks were delicious! It was a beautiful experience since the space they have is extremely beautiful, the decorations added to the ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant and especially their outdoor areas for weddings, parties etc.

Our wedding was almost 2 months ago and I can’t explain how happy I am that I booked the crescent beach club. My guests still speak about how beautiful our venue was. The food, the drinks, the service and everything was incredible. I was blessed to have stacie as my coordinator. This woman is AMAZING. She put me in sooo much ease. I wasn't worried for a second on the weeks leading up to my wedding. The day of my wedding I was lucky with beautiful weather and all our guests went to enjoy the beautiful happy hour on the beach. I didn’t worry about a single thing on my wedding day. My matrie d’ was wonderful. She made sure to check up on us, she made sure we had food and water at all times and sent us home with A LOT of food. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place, not just for the location but for the amazing people that work there. We had a wedding at Tappan Hill in middle of July and the wedding was beautiful. Everything turned out great. We were very happy with how everything was handled and we would recommend the venue to anyone who is looking for an inclusive venue where the linens, cutlery, cake, open bar, food and much more are all included. We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!

Overall, we are happy with our wedding day. The Mansion is in the process of being renovated/restored and so far it is looking beautiful! The hotel rooms were recently updated and guests were happy with them. The food was also FANTASTIC! (All of our guests were raving about all of the food). They clearly are a well oiled machine when it comes to throwing weddings. We also had our welcome dinner there the night before, which went amazingly and there was so much food everyone was happy! However, there were a few hiccups that bothered us considering how much money is put into having a wedding & how this venue does weddings all.the.time. so expectations are high. In the planning process, the event coordinator position was replaced 3 times in the year we were planning our wedding with them, the last replacement being the week before our wedding. The final replacement did not have any of our vendor info or cake selections and called me 4 days before my wedding about it (...scary). It must've been a miscommunication from the coordinator prior to her, as that girl never responded to any of our emails; I'm sure she did not keep any notes. The current coordinator also could not answer simple questions our friends/family asked her and was very pushy. On our wedding day, I was paired with a Maitre D who was very sweet, but I'm not sure about her "years" of experience that she claimed to have. While taking photos with our photographer she wasn't paying attention and wasn't fixing my dress/veil every time wind blew it out of place so the photographer had to leave his place each time to fix it himself (it was a windy day so this happened a lot). The photographer also asked her to assist in a "veil toss" shot and she ripped the veil from my head, yanking my head back, when she was just supposed to toss it up in the air. It hurt and pulled on my hair style that was supposed to last all night. I mentioned before the food was excellent, and the Chef is incredible. However, when we booked our venue last year, we were adamant about wanting a real wedding cake--not a fake one you cut one slice into for pictures. We were told by one of the event planners there that all tiers were going to be real cake, but during our cake cutting, we cut into styrofoam...it was disappointing. The cake they served was delicious, but we thought we were paying for a real cake because we were told it would be 100% real. We probably would not have booked this venue had we known we'd get a fake cake; it was something my dad made sure to ask at every venue we checked out, it was important to him. Additionally, some rude comments were overheard by our guests made by various staff members about our wedding. As a business owner whose business is to also provide a service, that is absolutely unacceptable, especially while on the job where people can hear you. Jazmin, the Chef, and the front desk ladies were very pleasant and professional to work with, but no one else there seemed to know what they were doing. It ended up working out but again, with how many weddings this place throws, you'd expect a better level of professionalism.

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

We are so pleased and happy with 19Main's venue and team, for us, it was Kylie. We decided to have our October 2025 wedding at 19Main due to it's unique building - the vaults, mezzanine, and large bridal and groom suites sealed the deal as well as being right on the beautiful New Milford town square. We reserved the venue in early January 2025 and worked with Kylie who guided us through site tours and being our main point of contact in general. We opted to rent the entire building and have a day-of coordinator (Kylie) and access to place settings (glassware, silverware, china). We are thankful we went with the 'expanded wedding package.' On the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had multiple vendor meetings and Kylie served as the linchpin for everything and she was incredibly organized. On the day, we had guests moving between the two large spaces (ceremony to cocktail hour to reception) with plenty of space to explore. The guests were thrilled to see an old bank be converted to such a beautiful venue. 19Main really left an impression on us and our guests - we couldn't be happier to have had the pleasure of getting married there and working alongside Kylie.

I just got married at this venue on 8/31/25. I was the second wedding after all the renovations made, and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mirian and Meg. If i can rate them & their staff alone it would be 10 stars. They were so attentive, helpful, professional, and kind. They didn’t only treat me (the bride) or the groom this way, they treated everyone with the utmost respect and amazing service. Sofia was in my care, who was the sweetest person and did everything for me that day. Meg was my maître d and she was so attentive and fun to be around. She pulled strings to make sure i got the most insane pictures and i couldn’t be more grateful that i had someone as great as her attending to me and my new husband! Mirian was the head person in charge before the wedding and she made everything so easy! She dealt with my vendors and made everything possible. she made sure my vision came to life and i really appreciate everything she did for me and my fiance as she made it possible. We met with her two weeks before the wedding, she helped me organize everything and even gave me very cute last minute ideas!! Meg and Mirian were the best two people to deal with i recommend anyone getting married here to push for them for their wedding day too. You know you have amazing staff too when your whole wedding and wedding party know them by name and mention that they loved them. The food was TO DIE FOR!! at one point after pictures, meg and sofia made sure me and my husband sat down for a moment to eat, which was super helpful and thoughtful. The food was amazing, everyone complimented it. Everyone raved about how good the meat carving station, seafood and pasta stations were. Everyone raved about the entrees and dessert as well. I cannot wait to go back and visit this place. It was so special, the vibe, overlooking the water. it made my fairytale wedding come to life. It wasn’t only the venue, it was definitely the people who worked there. Mirian and Meg, thank you so very much for making my wedding so memorable for me, my husband, and our whole family.

So many great things to say about this venue! *Gorgeous venue & perfect location* Every other venue we looked at had these ugly-colored, outdated carpets covering the entire reception hall. What's unique to Greentree is the beautiful large tiles and chandeliers. Not only is it breathtaking to look at, but all of your photos will sparkle and it makes for a perfect blank palette for any color scheme! The rooms are spacious enough for all of your needs, yet so intimate. Since everything is in one area, the guests are always together and it never feels like people are separated. There was plenty of room for all of our vendors to set up successfully. The location is perfect - on the water with beautiful views. We had guests from all over so New Rochelle was the perfect middle ground! Not too far from the city folks but also not too far from those living further north. *All-inclusive is the way to go* We booked Greentree the moment we got home from our initial appointment! From day 1, Kristina was BEYOND helpful with everything from wedding details, to suggestions & words of advice. We planned and pulled off an incredible, full-on wedding in only 3 months and I don't think we could have done it without Greentree. Everyone was shocked! She made everything so easy for us and low-stress. This venue has a great reputation and whenever I mentioned it, everyone was so excited and surprised I was able to book in such short timing. There are SO many benefits to an all-inclusive venue. As a bride there are a million and one things to worry about - but this venue takes care of it all. No need to worry about booking all of the details like catering and a cake decorator. Didn't need a wedding planner either because of their amazing team! The cake the baker made was STUNNING. The cocktail hour had a huge, incredible variety of food and guests were shocked to find out we still had all of our actual meal courses to follow! They were so flexible and accommodated us bringing our own cultural traditional cookies to put out as well. *Super attentive & flexible* Bradford is AMAZING and helped us with our final decisions and decor! We also received a day-of bridal attendant and maitre d' who were beyond accommodating. My bridal attendant was with me the entire night fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, asking me if I would like a drink, and helping me with anything I needed. Our maitre d' Gonzalo is a GEM. I somehow spilled an absurd amount of chocolate from the fountain smack in the middle of my dress. Gonzalo sat with me for minutes miraculously scrubbing it off until it was gone. It was an impossible task but he did not give up until the problem was fixed. He also checked in with us repeatedly throughout the night, guided us to where we had to go at certain times, and made sure we were taken care of. As all weddings, unforeseen things happen. This team is super quick on their feet! Our wedding was in October and was blue skies just about every day of the month. Of course, our weekend there was an impromptu Nor'easter. I'll admit I was bummed as I was looking forward to the gorgeous outdoor setting and photos on the water. However, when I saw how beautiful everything was inside, I was moved to tears. When originally looking for a venue we scoped out around 10 to choose from. VIP was the first we visited and we knew immediately we did not need to visit the other 9. Everything from the value, service, and quality was met that day and moving forward. This venue is extremely worth what you pay for. The service, the amount of options, the quality of those options, and the flexibility are all top notch. WE could not be more grateful for how the day went and that's in no small part to VIP and their team.
