What do you wear?

Our typical attire is a suit & tie (or business attire for our female DJs), but we are happy to wear whatever you'd like.

Do you take music requests?

Absolutely - we are happy to take requests, if it's something you're okay with. If not, we are happy to politely decline any requests.

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Accepted Answer

We are happy to provide services at ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.

Can you provide specialty, religious, or ethnic musicians?

Accepted Answer

We can play all music, regardless of religion, ethnicity, etc. If you want to hear it, we can play it!

Are you fully insured?

How early do you come to set up?

Accepted Answer

Setup typically begins 60-90 minutes prior to the event's start time. Set up takes about 30 minutes, then your DJ will conduct a sound check, check in with your vendors, and make sure everything is ready to go.

Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

We provide a handful of additional services, including photo booths, uplighting, karaoke, a slideshow projector/screen, and a customizable monogrammed light. Let us know if you're interested in booking anything additional! All extras are half-off if you book your DJ with us!

What is your travel and break down fee?

Setup and breakdown are always free and outside of the contracted time. Travel fees will more than likely be included in your initial quote, assuming you provide an address or venue!

What are your sales taxes?

We do not charge any sales tax!

A Music Plus has been in business for over 30 years, and has worked in nearly every venue throughout Colorado.

Where do you service?

We are happy to provide services throughout Colorado and into neighboring states (WY, NE, etc.)

Can I meet my DJ?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Once we get you paired to the DJ we feel is best fit for your specific needs, we can set up a meet & greet so you can ask your DJ any remaining questions, make sure you think it's a good fit, etc. If you end up not agreeing that the DJ we pair you with is the best fit, we will work with you to ensure we get you paired with a DJ you feel is the best fit for you!

Do you have a backup DJ just in case?

We always have a Plan B in place, just in case something happens to your DJ on the day of your wedding. We have never missed an event in over 35 years, and you won't be the first!

Question 14

How much music can we choose?

Accepted Answer

You can choose as much (or as little) music as you'd like! We don't have a setlist that we play, as we believe each client should hear what they want to hear, not what they're DJ might prefer to play. We are happy to play the music you provide, and your DJ will fill in the gaps based on artists/genres you like, can take guest requests (if you're okay with it), and will read the room to ensure everyone is enjoying the music!
