Q: What do you wear?

I typically wear a nice slim fit navy suit with white shirt and tie (when appropriate). But if you've got a costume in mind, I'm open to suggestions!

Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes, if there is a specific song or two that you would really love for a special moment in the ceremony or first dance etc. I am open to learning new songs!

Q: What makes you different from other musicians?

I specialize in heartfelt acoustic performances that resonate emotionally and spiritually with couples and guests. Hallowing the sacred moment by creating an emotional and spiritual resonance in the atmosphere is a gift that I am so grateful for.

Q: Do you take music requests?

Yes, of course! But ideally, these requests are made before the event so that I am well prepared!!

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes, absolutely! I specialize in ceremony music and cocktail reception 'atmospheres'.

Q: What is your style?

My style blends folk, soul, and acoustic pop with a warm, storytelling delivery (when appropriate).

Q: How early do you come to set up?

I arrive at least 90 minutes early to set up. I like to be PREPARED! So I have no problem arriving much earlier if the venue and schedule allows.

Q: Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

I typically provide a sound system for my performance and the availablity of additional microphones for officiant/vows/speeches etc., but I do not provide lighting or photo booths. If specific lighting for my performance is important to you I can certainly arrange it!

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

Travel fees will vary depending on distance, but will definitely be reasonable. Please don't hesitate to get in touch for more info/details if you have a specific destination!

With over two decades performing at iconic Twin Cities venues like First Avenue, the Fitzgerald and State Theaters, and touring nationally and internationally, I specialize in delivering heartfelt acoustic performances that resonate emotionally and spiritually with couples and guests.

We were planning a small wedding on a modest budget but knew the music had to be something special. As longtime fans of Romantica and Ben Kyle, we reached out to see if he’d perform at our ceremony and we’re so glad we did! Ben was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He helped us select the perfect mix of songs, including a mix of his originals and a beautiful cover that fit seamlessly into our ceremony. His music brought such heart and authenticity to our day, and his communication throughout the process was excellent. Truly one of the highlights of our wedding!

We hired Ben for our wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. Throughout the process of choosing songs, coordinating traveling, ensuring Ben had the right gear for two venues, Ben was great to work with! Ben Kyle of Romantica Music was such a joy to work with for our wedding. His music during our ceremony was absolutely beautiful. It’s still one of the moments I remember most from the day. Amid all the excitement, his playing really stood out as one of my strongest memories, and so many of our guests commented on how talented he was. I can’t recommend Ben enough to any couple looking for a musician who will bring real heart and artistry to their wedding.
