The Best Wedding DJ in the Twin Cities!!
We hired Groovytown Entertainment for our wedding in August 2023, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions we made! After searching for a DJ for about two weeks, we stumbled upon Groovytown Entertainment through Instagram, and everything fell into place. Our main focus was on the ceremony, as we wanted my cousins to play piano and guitar while guests arrived. We needed a DJ who could seamlessly accommodate this setup. At the same time, we also wanted someone who could keep the dance floor packed all night—both my family and my wife’s family love to dance! When we reached out, we connected with Biko, who immediately impressed us during a video chat. Just minutes into the call, we knew we were in good hands. Biko’s expertise with weddings was evident; he had so much energy and gave us insights about the timeline and flow of the day that we hadn’t even considered. It was clear he cared deeply about making our day perfect, and we booked him the very next day. Leading up to the wedding, we had two more meetings with Biko to finalize every detail. He was thorough, organized, and made sure everything was streamlined for our big day. On the wedding day, Biko arrived on time and had everything set up for our cousins to perform during the ceremony. The ceremony went flawlessly, and when it was time for the reception, we already knew we were in for a great time. Biko did not disappoint! We danced non-stop from the moment the music started until the venue literally couldn’t accommodate us anymore. Biko knew exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor—even the guests who normally prefer to sit and watch. Up to this day, we’re still getting compliments from family and friends about how amazing the day was, and much of that is thanks to Biko. If you’re looking for the BEST DJ for your wedding, we highly recommend Groovytown Entertainment and DJ Biko. We’d choose him over and over again without hesitation!
Amazing service
Groovytown entertainment was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was timely, professional and clear throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was fantastic - they kept the dance floor packed all night with their engaging, high-energy performance. They executed the ceremony just like we wanted. They had equipment for my brother to hook up and play guitar and piano during the reception. Their microphones were perfect during the ceremony, which was very important to us. The DJ started with older music that everyone knew, and cheerfully accepted requests from our guests all night long - he truly had something for everyone. Highly recommended!

From the moment we booked Groovytown Entertainment for our wedding, their communication was personal, efficient and respectful. They took the time to understand our musical preferences and vision for the reception, and worked closely with us to create the perfect playlist. On the day of, their energy and enthusiasm kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The DJ was super interactive, getting the crowd pumped up and making sure no one sat down. Overall, the quality of their work was very good and they provided excellent value for the price. We couldn't have asked for a better dj to make our special day so fun and memorable.
