Ridiculous Entertainment
I’ve been running Ridiculous Entertainment as my main business for 14 years. I picked up DJing as a hobby when I was in high school, falling in love with hip-hop and learning to scratch records. Throughout my college years, I DJed tons of parties. I now also work in live audio engineering, record albums in my home studio, play in bands, and produce stage shows with the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS). DJing weddings and private parties has been my main career path for a long time now and I still really enjoy it! Your wedding day should be a fusion of the best things in you and your partner's life together.
I can get any crowd dancing. I specialize in many kinds of music and will choose the songs that will electrify your dancefloor no matter the age, color or style of music. I love connecting with people through music so even if I'm just setting the perfect mood for your cocktail party I will be really pleased when things hit JUST RIGHT.

Uplights (x16)

16x Uplights for one large room or two small rooms. Modern, battery-powered LED uplights in your choice of colors. We can mix multiple colors and pick the perfect hue to match your decor. Later in the night the lights can add to the dancefloor vibes creating a synchronized light show.

Ten out of ten! Hire him!
Aran DJ’ed our wedding at a farm in November. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Before the wedding: He communicated clearly and responded quickly to all of our inquiries, usually responding within an hour to emails! He asked really clear and simple questions that helped us clarify our goals and needs. We gave him murky instructions since we were overwhelmed with all of the choices we had to make for the wedding, and he translated our vague thoughts into a straightforward timeline, plan for equipment, and playlists. He communicated with our other vendors efficiently to make sure everyone was on the same page. He even helped us figure out how one of our friends could play guitar on an amp while walking between the locations. At the wedding: Aran went above and beyond. He showed up early and DJed our outdoor cocktail hour as a bonus. He DJed our outdoor chilly ceremony and stepped in to fix last minute microphone and lighting problems. I heard from everyone that the audio was clear and at a good volume, which I was worried about because we had hard of hearing guests. At our reception, at our request he helped orchestrate an EPIC hora dance, one of the best ever. He then emcee’d the night’s flow, calling up each person to give a speech, calling tables to the buffet, etc, in a way that was subtle and efficient. And then the dance party… the dance party!!! It was so epic. Aran brought a cool multi-color light, and played all the hits, took requests, asked me (the bride) like one or two questions when he needed to, and was just really fun and lively and down for whatever the crowd wanted. Aran, we are so grateful to you for helping to make our special night so wonderful!!! Thank you!!!

Dance Birthday Party!
We used Aran for a birthday party. It was a great time and all the kids enjoyed the songs! I sent a playlist ahead of time but the kids also had lots of requests. I highly recommend for a great time!!

Ridiculous Entertainment was an amazing choice for our wedding entertainment! From the first call with Aran, their communication style was genuine, upbeat, responsive, and personable. Throughout the planning process, they were thoughtful and creative in helping us craft the perfect playlist (and we sent a few pages of songs) and flow for our special day. Day of Aran kept the ceremony, cocktails to reception transition smooth and timely, and incorporated so many of the songs we had requested.
