Lula Cafe brings our award-winning artisanal cooking to your table for weddings, social celebrations, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events. From custom menus by chef/owner Jason Hammel, our chefs will craft a spectacular feast for you and your guests from the bounty of our local growers and 16 years of creative menus in our signature style. We tailor each event to compliment your needs for all types of events— from weddings to corporate brunches and family dinners, lunch buffets to light-bite cocktail soirees.

In addition to being a full service catering company, we are also a restaurant located in Logan Square since 1999! Our seasonally-focused cuisine ensures your wedding menu will only include the best tasting ingredients.

The couple wanted an elegant dinner-party vibe with approachable, seasonal cuisine for their guests. We worked with their florist, Thistle and Plume and their Planner, The Creative Partners, to source rich, warm fabrics that would compliment their vision and bring a cozy vibe to their March 2025 wedding.

Lula Cafe was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding catering! From the very first interaction, their communication was efficient, warm, and collaborative. Anna, our main point of contact, was a delight to work with - she listened to our needs, offered creative suggestions, and worked to ensure everything was executed flawlessly. The food they provided was truly exceptional - a unique menu with delicious flavors that had all of our guests raving (the salmon and the arancini were fan favorites!). They delivered exactly as planned, and we were thrilled with the quality and value they provided for our special day. We couldn't recommend Lula Cafe more highly!

Lula Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in the city, so we were so glad to see that they catered weddings! They prepared such delicious food and drinks for our wedding. Anna was a pleasure to work with–from our first tasting to picking out our dinnerware to the actual day of the wedding. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the food. We know it’s going to be a talking point for years to come. The team was professional, kind, and considerate! They made sure that everyone was taken care of throughout the night. Special shoutout to Ari who consistently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we wanted. The whole team truly went above and beyond for our wedding, and we don’t hesitate in recommending them!

Lula Cafe and their entire staff, especially our point of contact Anna were absolutely incredible. They were perfect from planning to execution. Especially onsite, they made us feel so comfortable during our big day. Always available, super helpful in shaping our day, and most importantly the food was amazing. We LOVE Lula Cafe! It's our go-to neighborhood restaurant for celebrations, and when we got engaged and learned they did weddings we were stoked! Lula was on the vendor list by our wedding venue, Firehouse Chicago. From the start Lula was so great at communication, shoutout to Anna! We scheduled our wedding tasting and were blown away! The food was incredible and the price for the quality of staff care and thoughtfulness was perfect for our budget. Lula’s catering team was easy to work with and are such professionals, shoutout to Aylssa! We knew we wanted people to enjoy and remember the food at our wedding. Lula SO delivered as we had most guests comment that the food was the best they have had at a wedding! It was truly so special to have Lula as our caterer and they provide the best food and hospitality! We are so grateful Lula was our caterer for the best day of our lives!
