The number of weddings I take on varies annually, and this year, I'm limiting it to 12. My goal is to provide the best possible experience and photos for each couple without overextending myself. Quality, not quantity, is my focus. It's not about the money; I'm committed to serving you. For reference, I used to handle a staggering 300+ events / reportages per year.

17+ years! I started shooting at 15 years old. Woah, that’s literally half of my life.

Where are you based out of? Do couples ever travel to you for shoots?

New York City! While I'm here, you're more than welcome to travel to me for your photo sessions. Many couples choose to do so, combining their shoot with a little trip. New York State offers a plethora of incredible locations, from urban landscapes to scenic parks, mountains, waterfalls, and forests. If you need ideas for places to explore or capture your photos, feel free to ask!

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to guarantee availability. Some people reach out the same week, some people 12+ months ahead, so it really depends on your planning strategy.

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability (COI), and I’ll send that over to them.

Can we meet before booking to discuss our vision?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! I encourage an initial consultation to get to know each other, discuss your vision, and see if we're a good fit. Whether it's in person or through a video call, I'm happy to connect with you and answer any questions you may have.

Do you offer destination wedding coverage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I love traveling and capturing love stories in different locations - I’ve been in over 30 countries! If you're planning a destination wedding or elopement, I'm more than happy to discuss the details and create a custom package for your special day.

Question 8

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

As I take on a limited number of assignments, my turnaround time is faster than most photographers. The duration depends on the extent of the shoot, my travel schedule, and any holidays in between. Typically, it takes 1 week or less, up to one month depending on the season. I strive to deliver the images as promptly as possible while ensuring each photo receives the attention it deserves.

How many pictures will we get?

The number of images delivered varies with each package, but rest assured, I always include plenty of photos covering every moment I capture. I don’t have a cutoff number because I don’t believe in withholding any images from you to get to pay more like some photographers do. My photography style is documentarian. I just photograph the emotion, feeling, and moment you show me. These are your memories, and I'm dedicated to capturing them fully, providing you with more than enough images to cherish this special time in your lives.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Yes! I believe that editing is a big part of the magic that enhances images. I also do not deliver unedited raw images are only halfway to their full potential. I prefer not to alter your appearance unless it involves temporary issues like skin blemishes, bruises, scrapes, or acne (unless you’d like me to keep it the photos). If there's something specific you're self-conscious about, please let me know, and I'll be extra attentive while we're shooting.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

This would only happen if it was out something of my control (act of god, illness, death, etc). In such cases, I will do my utmost to find a replacement photographer with a similar style whom I trust who you can coordinate this with. However, please understand that I'm not obligated to do so. If I can't make it to your wedding, your payment will be refunded.

Can we provide a list of specific shots we want?

Of course! While wedding galleries are mostly a reportage of the event, I’m more than happy to accommodate specific shot requests. Before the shoot or wedding, feel free to share any ideas or must-have shots, and I'll do my best to capture them.

Question 13

How do payment schedules work?

Accepted Answer

To secure your spot on my calendar, I require a 50% retainer. The remaining 50% is due 1 month in advance for weddings and 2 weeks in advance for photo sessions. If it helps, you can split these payments into up to 3 installments, making it more manageable. I'm flexible and happy to work with your schedule!

What do we wear for photos if it's not a wedding?

Question 15

What if we need to cancel/reschedule our shoot or wedding?

Accepted Answer

Regardless of the type of shoot, if I am able to rebook the original date and time with a new client, I will provide you a full refund. If you've already put down a deposit or paid in full for a specific date but need to cancel or reschedule, please review the FAQ section on my website. Unexpected situations can arise. Please communicate any changes as early as possible so we can work together to find the best solution. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

What if there's bad weather?

I encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it often adds beauty and uniqueness to the photos. However, if the weather is harsh enough to make the shoot unpleasant or risk damaging equipment, we can reschedule to ensure a better experience or pick a different location.
