Day of she was amazing make sure everything was running smoothly despite hiccups from other vendors she really helped pull it all together. Highly recommend!! She helped wrangle my nephew the ring bearer to get him down the aisle! She went above and beyond packing everything up and getting it safely to our hotel room. So very much appreciated. When we say Taylor EXCEEDED our expectations, we truly mean that. From start to finish Taylor was such a calming and supportive presence in our lives. During the planning portion of our event, Taylor communicated with all of our vendors and made sure we were always on the same page. She was organized and had all of our contracts, seating charts, floor plans etc all in one google doc making it extremely easy to follow and stay on track. She was always responsive and answered every single question we could possibly have. As the wedding got closer, we had weekly calls to make sure we tied up any loose ends and that all the vendors were on the same page. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Taylor looked like a boss woman the whole time with her clipboard and made sure that she was keeping everyone in line and on track of time. There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! You can really see how much she loves what she does and how she strives to be the best she can be every step of the way. Shout out to her assistant Joy for everything she had her hands on, including being so delicate and gentle while steaming my heavy wedding dress and taking some incredible behind the scenes shots of our day and for just being another amazing person to rely on. We had Raquel for 3 month coordination, and words alone cannot express how organized, professional, and seamless Raquel made the three months leading up to and on wedding day. Prior to the start of our coordination with Raquel, she provided us with a very organized, detailed spreadsheet to guide us through the wedding planning process. Raquel was the organization and detail behind every idea I brought to the table and helped to make our vision a reality! Raquel was my coordinator but doubled as my wedding therapist throughout the three months! Any wedding related question we had, Raquel was always there with a very thoughtful and speedy email response. Starting at 5pm the night before our wedding when she led us through our mini walk-through, to walking down the aisle, I felt completely reassured everything would go as smoothly as possible due to Raquel’s expertise! We planned our wedding in a short timeframe and Liz kept us on track the whole way. She was super flexible with our needs and built out a custom ceremony that was tailored to our needs. She also gave us a timeline that we stuck to and wrote a beautiful ceremony that felt true to us. She even had quotes and readings for us to incorporate into our ceremony. Liz was extremely organized throughout the whole process. We had several calls in the months leading up to our wedding in which she got to know us, went over our vows/script/what we wanted to include, went over any feedback and even helped us build out a timeline for our whole day. From securing vendors to day-of coordination to random little questions (like can we get L&B’s pizza delivered to our venue late at night? and where can we get a selfie mirror welcome sign?), Marissa was there to offer her guidance. Early on, we talked about communication and budget to set expectations. We have pretty busy schedules, but Marissa was really understanding and flexible, even when we could only check-in via emails or have calls in the evening. She also let us know what to expect budget-wise for each vendor and helped us prioritize where we wanted to splurge or save. Marissa was also really thoughtful when looking for vendors for us. She recommended a photographer who had shot tea ceremonies before, and made sure to find hair and makeup artists who were familiar with working with Asian features. Day-of, our venue was a bit disorganized and there were some issues with some of the vendors, but because we had Marissa there, we didn't need to worry about the little things and could just enjoy our day! She also had great ideas for DIY or adding personal touches for the wedding. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

We hired Tea through Mostest, and we’re so happy to have worked with her! We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. As our DoC, she was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. She worked well with both of our families and truly has a great personality and spirit for weddings!

So, first things first, hire Jade. She will help you take that vague idea of the perfect wedding that’s inside your head and make it a reality. She was stellar at sourcing and working with vendors. We were a bit clueless about what to expect in terms of pricing, but Jade helped us determine our budget early on, and how costs would break down. Jade saved us more than a couple times by alerting us when vendor quotes were unreasonable, and found us our bakery, florist, and DJ, who all did amazing work within our budget. Jade kept us up-to-date on the budget and made sure we were comfortable with costs throughout the whole planning process. Jade also worked really closely with our photographer and videographer, and helped us coordinate an engagement photoshoot so we could get to know our photographer and make sure we liked working with them before the actual wedding day. Jade even surprised us on the day by bringing along disposable cameras so that we could capture memories from the perspective of the guests. Planning a wedding with Jade was like doing a group project with the smartest kid in the class - every inconceivably large task was broken down into manageable chunks, everything seemed to come together right on schedule, and it was always fun to brainstorm together in our virtual syncs. Jade was instrumental in helping us plan the happiest day of our lives, and we can’t recommend her enough!

Tara and the whole team at Mixed Company are just absolute MAGIC! I was lucky enough to work with them for a whole wedding weekend at The Wythe Hotel and 74 Wythe in Williamsburg and while I’ve worked with lots of other planners at both, they’re my new favorites. Not only is Tara an absolute joy in every regard, she anticipated not only the couple and wedding party’s needs, but also assisted all the other fellow vendors flawlessly. While the couple had been a little anxious leading up to the wedding, I’ve never seen a bride and groom so comfortable and relaxed - in huge part because of Mixed Company’s care, humor and attention to detail. Not only that, one of my favorite moments of the day was catching Tara be so engrossed in the ceremony herself that she shed a few tears - she genuinely cares for all of her clients! I am just keeping my fingers crossed that more of my couples book her ASAP.
