I’m a Danish wedding photographer based in Chicago. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m drawn to images that feel honest and quiet - the kind that don’t just show what a moment looked like, but what it actually felt like to be there.

What inspires me A lot of my inspiration comes from being out in the world - traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and spending time in nature. Whether I’m in the mountains, by the ocean, or in the middle of a city, holding a camera helps me slow down and really see what’s in front of me.

I don’t know where to begin! Anders and Kristin were truly the dream team behind capturing our wedding day! They weren’t just our photographer and videographer, they were our hype team! Not only did they deliver breathtaking photos and a beautifully crafted video that have allowed us to relive every magical moment, but they also went above and beyond—personally driving us to our venue on our wedding day. Anders and Kristin were also some of the most fun people we’ve ever worked with. From our initial meeting at our engagement shoot, they had us laughing, feeling totally at ease, and actually enjoying every moment in front of the camera. Their creativity and talent speak for themselves—the photos and video are beyond stunning—but it’s their personalities that made the whole experience unforgettable. They somehow managed to capture every candid, heartfelt, and hilarious moment, while also making sure we had the time of our lives in the process. If you want vendors who feel like old friends and who will turn your wedding day into an adventure, these two are it! We couldn't be more grateful.

I will start this review off by simply stating that the choice of the photography “vendor” might have been one of the most important choices to me in our wedding planning process and the one that gave me much anxiety initially. I was looking for someone who could capture the feeling of our day, of course get lovely photographs of our friends and family, and also let shine their artistic talents to create photos that could stand alone without the obvious label of a “wedding shot.” The decision of which photographer to pick with the initial brief above seemed daunting...especially in a sea of what seemed to be very standard wedding photographers all at about the same price point or much more for what didn’t seem like better quality. When I stumbled upon Anders, I immediately felt a connection to his artistic style that felt in a different league to what I had been looking at. We had an initial consult with Anders and all of the feelings of anxiety over the photographer (how the pictures might turn out, whether we were going to regret our choice, etc.) washed away completely. We are living in the PNW and were able to do an engagement shoot while we were in Chicago briefly and Anders was very flexible with our scheduling and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He spent extra time, took us to such interesting spots, and the results were so beautiful. I mentioned in our initial consultation that what was most important to me was enjoying our wedding day and the special time with friends and family which is exactly what we got. Anders did such a great job in making sure we stayed on track with important shots and was able to create so many other personal shots that I just love looking back on! Not only this, but he also ended up creating a wedding video for us that was so special. Not only is Anders a wonderful photographer, but a wonderful person who is so friendly, kind, and truly passionate about his work. We are not the only ones who noticed; We had multiple guests after the wedding comment on how fun Anders was to interact with. I cannot think of an easier decision that we made for our wedding. I cannot recommend Anders enough!

Anders went above and beyond, every step of the way. We first got to see him in action with our engagement photo shoot - He has an eye for capturing vibrant moments/expressions. His passion for photography was on full display, reframing shots until he found an interesting angle or artistic background. And the wedding day itself could not have been more smooth. He was highly present throughout the day but never intrusive. We have watched the video he compiled dozens of times. After the agreed upon ending time had passed and he was on his way out, he saw us doing karaoke, stopped and unpacked some equipment to capture a few more moments. You will not regret having him part of your wedding, or any other event you want to capture in a meaningful way.

My wife and I used Anders for our wedding and we could not have asked for a better photographer. From the first time we met him we knew we were in good hands. It’s clear that he has a passion for photography as well as customer service. We loved his candid style and his skillful editing. He was always open to taking more pictures and he welcomed our input. He truly made our wedding special and we think of him as a key reason why our day was so great. We made many fantastic memories with him and we recommend him to anyone that is looking for wedding photography and beyond.
