BFA in photography, film and electronic media (UIC). Creating visual stories is my passion and helping people feel comfortable in front of the lens is my priority. I love nature, sunlight, reflections, shallow dept of field, soft light, love, passion, honest laughs, genuine smiles, and try to incorporate all these in every wedding I shoot.

    Carey Primeau Photography was an excellent choice for our wedding photographer.     Carey was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer and more. He was punctual, professional, and completely on top of the timeline from the moment he arrived, which immediately put us at ease. What really stood out was how comfortable he made us feel throughout the entire day. Neither of us are naturally confident in front of a camera, but Carey gave clear, calm direction without ever making things feel stiff or overly posed. He was warm, easy to be around, and blended in seamlessly- capturing real moments as they happened while still making sure we got all the “must-have” shots. And the photos speak for themselves. The shots are stunning- beautiful lighting, thoughtful angles, and so much emotion captured in a way that feels true to us. He caught candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening, along with gorgeous portraits that look effortless.
