Vicki Amar, owner of Amarvelous Event, is an award-winning wedding and event planner and blogger and is a Certified Wedding and Event Planner by the Certified Wedding Planner Society, the world’s leading wedding planner certification program. Vicki has 13 years of professional event planning experience and an expert understanding of the events industry, having worked on a diverse portfolio including weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and large-scale events. Vicki has assisted in planning iconic events such as The Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Macy's 4th of July Fireworks.

    Vicki literally gave us the day of our dreams. From taking the fuzziest concept and giving it incredible shape to managing the whole day, we were blown away by Vicki's vision, attention to detail and kindness.     We had our wedding back in June, and I am still in absolute awe of Vicki at Amarvelous Event. I met Vicki almost exactly a year ago at the Fort Lauderdale Bridal Expo, and from our very first conversation, I knew she was the only person I could trust to bring our wedding to life. We hired Vicki as our month-of coordinator, but she was even there for us MONTHS in advance, consistently checking in, guiding us, and answering every question with patience and expertise in a timely manner. She made sure we were always on the right track and gave us so much peace of mind throughout the planning process. But where Vicki truly shined was on our wedding day. The night before, we had a sudden family health scare, and without missing a beat, Vicki stepped up and made it a priority to ensure they were comfortable the entire day. She communicated with all of our vendors to ensure not only that my husband and I were cared for, but that our family’s needs were fully supported throughout the day. Amidst all the moving parts and unexpected moments, Vicki was the calm. She brought a sweet, steady, supportive energy that made her feel like a best friend by my side.
