I have always had a passion for planning, coordinating, and managing. Brainstorming unique event ideas or helping someone else’s vision come to life sparks a fire in me. This lead me to the go back to school pursuing a degree in project management and communications. After graduating, I worked for a premier wedding venue in northern Michigan and decided to venture off on my own. This is how light the Way Events was born!

I love how planning is like a behind the scenes puzzle. I get to put all of the little pieces together while not losing sight of your overall vision, do that you can relax and soak in each moment of your special day!

    Tyanna and the team at Light the Way Events were absolutely amazing! From our first meeting, Tyanna made herself readily available to discuss any questions or concerns we had about our big day. Her open communication style put us at ease. On our wedding day, Tyanna coordinated everything flawlessly allowing my husband and I to truly enjoy our special moments stress-free. The months of thoughtful planning and attention to detail really showed in how smoothly the event flowed.
