Located in Wake Forest, our venue can be found on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Sutherland is a unique 18th century estate that features more than six acres of ancient oaks, stately magnolias, and exquisite gardens. It’s the perfect location for any event, from weddings to corporate meetings.

No other venue offers full event planning along with day of coordination. We will walk you through every aspect of your special event and take the stress out of having a party! You have a wealth of knowledgable planners to source ideas from and help to design your big day.

From the moment we first met with the team at The Sutherland, we were blown away by their incredible communication, consideration, and helpfulness. Ashlee Adams, our wonderful coordinator/planner, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our special day was executed perfectly. The staff at The Sutherland were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure the vision for our wedding was realized. The quality of their work was truly beautiful, well thought out, and considerate of our vision, making our wedding day feel so special and unique.
