We used Toast Entertainment as the DJ for our wedding in the DFW area, and we couldn’t have been happier. The package we chose was an incredible value and a great deal. The planning process was extremely easy, and we loved that we could be as detailed as we wanted. DJ Isaiah was absolutely amazing. He listened to everything we asked for and truly crushed the music at our reception. We were able to select a large list of must-play songs, and he complemented them perfectly while matching our vibe and style. The dance floor was packed all night long! It was truly the best night of our lives and the most fun party we could have asked for.

My DJ was 3 hours late!!! He “had to come from his other job” and so I had to have my cousin DJ the ceremony. When he did show up he did a fine job for dinner and dancing but I was crying so much stressing about my DJ flaking and coming so late with no communication. I received a full refund so there is nothing more I want but I want to warn everyone to please be aware of this!!!!

Although we booked Toast Entertainment for our DJ use due to a recommendation, our experience fell short of expectations due to several factors that impacted the overall enjoyment of the event. First, Avalon messaged me personally at 5:02 p.m. before the 6:00 p.m. ceremony that he was allergic to cigarette smoke. I completely respect this and understand that being around this would make him ill, but I did not appreciate the message being sent so late in the day, as I do have an aunt who smokes and I was not given ample time to communicate this to her. This should have been discussed by him in our original conversation on July 31st so we could have addressed the problem before the day of the event (let alone, the hour before the event began). Second, Avalon's music choice did not align with our vision for the event. We discussed Indie/Folk music as our desired music of choice, but that was not played throughout the entirety of the event. Our first dance floor song was the Cupid Shuffle which was not on our song list we sent him. I was highly disappointed in the choice of song as I really dislike that song and feel as though it did not align with our music choices. We gave various song choices for Avalon to choose from and help guide his DJing at our event, but I do not feel as though those choices were taken into account in the selection of song choices. Lastly, during our initial call on July 31st as we were discussing the timeline, Avalon made it clear that our timeline of events was something he had never experienced before and encouraged us to relook at the sequence of events. Specifically, he did not understand why we were doing the grand entrance after dinner, but due to the space, it made the most sense. As this decision was made by our amazing wedding planner, Best Day Events, I clearly sided with her and said we are following what she has outlined. Overall, I was disappointed in our experience with Avalaon and would not recommend Toast Entertainment for future use.
