About this venue

Hamilton Loft is a one-of-a-kind venue with a modern Brooklyn loft feel that's woven with historical character. Located in the heart of Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood, the beautiful loft space features high ceilings, wooden beams, and breathtaking skylights. You're welcome to utilize the gorgeous furnishings and giant plants that come with the space, or bring your own unique vision to life. With tables and chairs for up to 150 people, we make it easy to plan your celebration. Our venue offers 6,000 square feet of wide open indoor space. The main event space can adapt to the ceremony and reception alike, with a maximum capacity of 250 people standing and up to 150 people seated comfortably. Meanwhile, 6,000 square feet of gated open space just outside the main doors allows the wedding festivities to extend outdoors. We've made things easy with our in-house bar service—choose from a variety of packages.

Hamilton Loft features 6,000 SQ FT of indoor space and an additional 6000 SQ FT of outdoor space. Featuring exposed brick accent walls, metal ceiling details, and sleek, polished concrete floors, the loft emulates industrial-chic Brooklyn design. There are separate interior ceremony and reception areas, and you are also welcome to extend your event to the 6,000-square-foot outdoor space.

We were married in October 2025 at Hamilton Loft and had an incredible experience from our first tour (a little over a year prior) through the day of. Steve and the team were incredibly responsive with all our questions, and walked us through each step of the process. The event turned out exactly as we had planned. Steve and our planner stayed in contact throughout the weeks leading up to ensure there were no issues, and everything went as expected. We could not have been happier with how everything turned out and are incredibly grateful to have found the space. We had about 100 guests and plenty of room for our dance floor, a midnight snack rolled out by our caterer along the perimeter of the main room, treat tables in the bar area, and more. Do not sleep on Hamilton Loft!

My experience with Hamilton Loft was impeccable. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the amount of customizable options made it really easy to create the perfect vibe for my wedding. Steve was timely with all of his replies and offered his expertise with recommending other vendors (who were all awesome). Enzo and the entire staff were also great to work with and helped in making my wedding day the best day of my life. I recommend Hamilton Loft wholeheartedly!

We truly can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. It was exactly what we imagined it would be. Not to mention our guests have been raving about it since - from the venue itself, being able to float between the indoors and the courtyard, the staff, the beautiful side bar room. I think my dad has a man-crush on the manager Steve (for good reason). Working with Steve at Hamilton Loft was one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. Steve and his team are so thoughtful, flexible, and honest during planning. Frankly, working with Steve was one of the only parts of the planning process that wasn’t stressful because of how professional and experienced he is. You can tell how much pride their team has in creating thoughtful, tailored, and special experiences for every single event they have. Steve’s team entertained many of our specific requests regarding the bar package and event layout, considered a few crazy ideas we had, allowed us to conduct multiple planning walkthroughs, and supported us every step of the way. Something I think is worth mentioning is how many improvements to the venue they made in the year from when we signed the contract to our Wedding Day… almost a different venue entirely! They added so much greenery, an outdoor pergola, fresh paint, and more. It goes to show how much pride they have in creating the best possible venue for whatever event people want to plan. We’d recommend Hamilton Loft to anyone looking to plan a truly memorable event!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Hamilton Loft in February and truly cannot overstate how perfect this venue is. The venue itself is gorgeous. The in house plants and furniture made it feel lush and cozy with very little additional decor needed. The venue was the perfect size for our 80 guests with plenty of space for our cocktail area in the side room and our dining tables and dance floor in the main room, while still feeling intimate. The two dressing rooms in the back were perfect for us to get ready with our wedding parties - lots of mirrors, natural light, and comfy sofas, and Steve was generous enough to come through with drinks for us as we were getting ready! The in house bar package is great and the day-of staff did an incredible job - the drinks were delicious and there was never a line. We heard nothing but glowing praise about the venue and team from our guests. Steve and his team were a joy to work throughout the whole planning process and on the day. Steve has the best energy! They brought our vision to life in a beautiful way and were clearly focused on delivering a world-class experience. Even in the time between us signing the venue and our wedding day, they continued to invest in the venue so it was even more beautiful than we had hoped. 100/10, highly highly recommend Hamilton loft!

Our building is located 12 miles away from LaGuardia Airport and 20 miles from JFK Airport.

Shell’s Loft includes a 900 sq. ft kitchen featuring ample counter space, 1 refrigerator, 1 deep freezer, and 1 compartment sink. There are two separate service entrances into the kitchen. Caterers may opt to bring in additional cooking equipment. Please check with your venue coordinator for any restrictions. We only allow reputable catering companies to use the kitchen.

While generally only allow pets during wedding ceremonies—but the pet must be well-behaved and on a leash. You MUST receive prior approval for this. The pet cannot remain in the space after the ceremony / during the reception.
