About this venue
Houston Hall is a rustic wedding venue in New York, New York. Built in 1907, this former FBI parking garage has since been reconstructed as a vintage beer hall and brewery. Exposed brick, wooden beams, hand-painted murals and high ceilings with skylights offer the perfect environment for your wedding day and reception. This venue space features a unique, large and open-spaced floor plan. Houston Hall has the ability to accommodate up to 225 guests comfortably when seated. In addition, we have a spacious, private dressing room that overlooks the hall. This is where you can get ready before your walk down the aisle. Guests will be able to take in the warm, vintage environment of Houston Hall as they walk around the naturally lit, open space.

Beautiful venue with amazing staff
I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Houston Hall. Carlita and Isabel made sure our entire wedding day went flawlessly. From the start, Carlita worked closely with us during the tasting to ensure all our guests’ dietary needs were accommodated. With several family members living with celiac disease, including my dad, this was incredibly important to us, and she handled it with so much care and attention. The food and drinks were outstanding. We chose a few specialty cocktails that were a huge hit, and our guests ravedabout the food. At most weddings, the food is forgettable, but Houston Hall completely exceeded our expectations, everything was truly delicious. Beyond that, Carlita and Isabel made the planning process so seamless and stress-free. They ensured we had everything we needed, coordinated with all of our vendors, kept the schedule perfectly on track, and made my wedding day feel effortless. I knew everything was being expertly handled and that we were in the best hands. The venue is such a unique and amazing place, and everyone felt so welcomed. Additionally, they provided a list of vendors they work with regularly, which was phenomenal. They went above and beyond in every way and delivered the most perfect day. I am endlessly grateful and couldn’t recommend Houston Hall more highly.
Best Venue Ever!
At first, searching for a wedding venue in New York City seemed overwhelming, until we discovered Houston Hall. We could not have asked for a better venue/experience. After the initial meeting we were immediately sold. Every detail was considered and organized perfectly from start to finish. The venue is already unique, but on the day of it was transformed to capture our vision with the perfect blend of elegance and rustic charm. Houston Hall took care of all our needs to make our day both memorable and special, providing menus, table runners, and even letting us drop off our flowers four days early so they could set everything up just as we imagined. Carlita was a pleasure to work with. She is organized, kind, and professional. She ensured that all required tasks were completed efficiently and to standard. Isabel was also exceptionally caring and accommodating throughout the entire process. It was an absolute joy to work with both Carlita and Isabel - they were engaged and always accommodating whenever we had a request or a question. It felt like working with friends! The entire staff was proficient, courteous, and helpful. The bartender service was masterful, and the food was presented promptly and in an orderly fashion. Our guests continue to praise the food's flavor and quality. The event was conducted with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring everything proceeded smoothly throughout the day. We are deeply grateful to Carlita and her staff for delivering a wedding experience that exceeded our expectations. Houston Hall comes highly recommended, and we are confident it will not disappoint.
Venue of Our Dreams
We cannot recommend Houston Hall enough as a wedding venue! The staff was excellent-they helped us plan the entire timeline of the day and ensured everything ran smoothly. Christon was so amazing and absolutely nailed it. We got so many compliments from our guests about how attentive the service was, and that they absolutely loved the food! Who doesn’t love comfort food at a wedding!? This venue is so unique and is such a gem in New York City. It held so many guests and had such a great rustic vibe. Thank you Houston Hall for giving us a wedding we will never forget!

We held our wedding at Houston Hall in October 2023. From first booking, the Houston hall event team Christon & Michelle were involved every step of the way, and had an organized process of keeping us informed. The ones that stick out were menu flexibility and options and the use of an online platform that kept all of our documentation, communication, and billing in one place. When it came to our big day, we and our guests were so pleased with Houston Hall. The food was excellent. Our guests really enjoyed the family style servings, and raved about how delicious the food was. Food came out timely, and Houston was very organized in ensuring all our guest with dietary restrictions were accommodated. Above all, the service was amazing. Both us and our guests were taken care of by friendly and efficient waitstaff and bartenders. This is something our guests still talk about. Also important to note was that our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all in the same location. The staff turned the location seamlessly during our cocktail hour without our guests being interrupted or even noticing. The venue itself was everything we hoped it would be. To enhance our guests experience, we opted to rent chairs (in place of benches) and edison lights. This process was seamless, as Houston had a recommended vendor who they work with frequently to deliver and install. Houston was also very accommodating to help us deliver and store items before the wedding (for example, our table decor, rented florals and cake). By choosing Houston Hall, we had an amazing, memorable, and low stress wedding day. We would highly recommend without hesitation for your wedding, or any other big event.
