The Wescott is a private-rental wedding venue designed for full, unhurried weekends together. Couples reserve the entire property, including 9 guest rooms sleeping up to 34 guests, ensuring privacy and connection from arrival to farewell. The experience centers around a spacious mountain patio with open skies and multiple fire features, complemented by a flexible Great Room and a private, full-service bar open all weekend. Located on the downtown boardwalk near the lake, guests can walk to shops, cafés, and additional lodging. Couples love the freedom to BYOB, choose their own insured vendors, gather late without a rushed timeline, and truly host their favorite people in one place.

The bar is a private, flexible gathering space designed to support the flow of the wedding weekend. It features a commercial ice machine, a two-tap kegerator, a large chest refrigerator, and optional 10-button Coca-Cola service for non-alcoholic beverages and mixers. Couples may BYOB and use their own insured bartender, allowing complete control without time restrictions or last call pressure.

    Staying at The Wescott feels like you have been invited into someone’s mountain home for the weekend. The amenities, coziness, and warmth it provides is perfect for any occasion. When you stay onsite, you not only have a comfortable room that has been beautifully designed, but you also have the large patio, bar, and great room at your disposal. With room to spare there is no limit to the occasion that can be hosted when you stay at the Wescott. With inviting fire features and being able to walk downtown or to the lake during the day is a huge bonus. The views are outstanding, it is relaxed, social, and incredibly easy. I highly recommend hosting your event at the Wescott!!

    Having everyone stay together made things easy — no shuttles, no schedules, no stress. People walked to the lake, grabbed food downtown, or just hung out on the patio all day. The fire features and bar kept everyone gathered at night, and no one wanted to leave. I really wanted to save money on alcohol and food, and The Wescott provides the most flexibility we found. If your goal is a wedding that doesn’t feel rushed or rigid, you need a 2-day wedding at this place. The really nailed it.

    The Wescott is designed the way planners wish more venues were. The flexibility here is exceptional. Both indoor and outdoor spaces adapt easily to weather, guest flow, and changing plans throughout the weekend. The patio, bar, and great room work together without competing, and the ability for my wedding couples to BYOB and choose their own insured vendors removes so many common friction points. From a logistics standpoint, it’s efficient. From an experience standpoint, it offers an incredible mix of full weekend lodging, event space, and a prime location for activities.
