About this venue
A peaceful place to gather, celebrate, and begin your forever. Firefly Hills is an inclusive wedding venue in the hills of Beattyville, Kentucky, near the scenic Red River Gorge. We host intimate celebrations for up to 75 guests, offering flexible venue packages that include indoor and outdoor ceremony locations—Blossom Hall, the orchard, the pond, and the meadow. Couples can choose single-day or multi-day access to the property. Select packages include exclusive use of our farmhouse with three king bedrooms, a full kitchen, and space to gather. On-site lodging is available for guests through our RV park and RV rentals. We proudly welcome all couples and every kind of love. Firefly Hills offers a naturally beautiful, peaceful setting for weddings that are heartfelt, personal, and deeply meaningful.

The Full Bloom package includes a three-day, two-night weekend celebration for up to 75 guests. Host your ceremony at Blossom Hall or in the orchard, with an optional upgrade for a pond ceremony. Enjoy full access to the property for photos and exclusive use of the farmhouse with three king bedrooms, a full kitchen, and cozy spaces. Discounted RV site rates are available for your guests to stay on-site.
The Pure Bloom

The Pure Bloom package offers a peaceful three-day, two-night celebration for up to 75 guests, available Monday through Thursday. Host your ceremony at Blossom Hall or in the orchard, with an optional pond upgrade. Enjoy full access to the property for photography, exclusive use of the farmhouse with three king bedrooms and a full kitchen, and discounted on-site RV lodging for guests.
The Petite Bloom

The Petite Bloom package offers an eight-hour, one-day celebration for up to 25 guests. Host your ceremony at Blossom Hall or in the orchard, with an optional pond upgrade. Use Blossom Hall for your reception and as a getting-ready space. This is a cater-in-only event with no kitchen access or rehearsal. An optional farmhouse suite add-on is available for the couple.

The Stars at Night Can't Beat the Fireflies
Firefly Hills is a tucked-away, intimate stay in the beautiful Kentucky mountains. Tonja and Troy have built a beautiful oasis getaway in the Red River Gorge, perfect for any special event. We attended an event to celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos, where we met Tonja, Troy, and other families for two weeks of well-planned and executed celebrations and activities. They have a beautiful service building that provides private bathhouses, a laundry room, and a small store that has various items from local vendors/artisans, complete throughout with heated floors. There are 15 spacious full hook-up RV spaces for visitors, with two glamping spots on the way, plus room for tent and boondock camping to help facilitate your guests. They also have an incredible restored Sears kit house on site with several beautifully decorated rooms that can be rented, a full kitchen, a dining room, and two gorgeously, thoughtfully curated rooms to gather larger groups in for gatherings. And to top it off, a licensed masseuse comes by during the week to offer her services. And boy, is she worth it. Outside the house is a vegetable garden that all visitors are welcome to. The Web kids' area, hammocks, hiking paths, yoga offerings, and community firepits give more variety for families, friends, and visitors to relax or be active. And you are close to many Red River Gorge activities, explorations, and dining experiences to complete any trip to the area for yourself and your guests. Above all, Tonja and Troy are about making everyone feel welcome, regardless of what road they took to get to Firefly Hills. Inclusivity is a guideline that they live by, and you know when you arrive that you are welcome, no matter where you come from, where you're going, or whom you love. At Firefly Hills, you are, above all else, treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. And celebrated.

Weddings at Firefly Hills was the perfect venue for our special day. The owners were prompt, friendly, and always available to help us plan everything exactly how we wanted it. The quality of their work and attention to detail was unmatched - the venue had a unique, inviting, and cozy farmhouse feel that made all of our guests feel right at home. We were able to have a fabulous day filled with the southern, country, homestead vibes we had always dreamed of for our wedding. And the on-site accommodations made it easy for our friends and family to spend quality time together throughout the weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we will definitely be recommending Firefly Hills to others as well as returning to visit, as it truly feels like a second home to us now.
Firefly Hills: A Welcoming Space for Celebrations
Firefly Hills is a peaceful, nature-filled space with plenty of room to relax and explore, and after spending time there, it’s easy to see why it appeals to couples planning weddings and events. The event area near the farmhouse works naturally for receptions and gatherings, with several beautiful outdoor options across the property for ceremonies. Beyond the campground itself, the property is full of charm, from the historic farmhouse to the chickens wandering around and providing fresh eggs in the morning. During our stay, we enjoyed walking the trails and spending time in the garden areas, and it was easy to notice how much space there is for kids to explore and play in the wooded areas. Being so close to Red River Gorge was also a huge plus. What stood out most to us was the campground’s genuinely welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. It felt like a place where people of all identities can relax, feel comfortable being themselves, and celebrate together. Participating in events there made it clear that the space is intentionally designed for connection and community, and it’s easy to imagine Firefly Hills as a truly special setting for a wedding or meaningful gathering rooted in nature and togetherness.
