The looks, the voices, the laughter that show who you truly are. I blend cinematic digital footage with nostalgic Super 8 (and sometimes 90’s VHS) to create films that feel soulful and timeless. The BEST decision we made!!
If you’re looking for a wedding filmmaker who truly gets it, look no further than Hanscoop Films. Choosing Brian was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment he arrived, he carried this calm, grounding energy that made us feel completely taken care of. He blended into the day so seamlessly that at times we forgot there was even a camera, yet somehow he still captured everything with incredible clarity and intention Our ceremony footage especially blew us away. The audio was crystal clear, and the multiple angles made it feel like we were watching our day unfold all over again. Being able to relive those precious moments is something we will always be grateful for The way Brian wove together the small, quiet moments, the atmosphere, the little reactions, the smiles from our families, brought us right back into the emotions of our wedding in a way photos simply cannot. You often hear that couples don’t watch their wedding film or only watch it once after they get married. We’re happy to report we’ve already watched ours several times and it hasn’t even been that long since our wedding. We can’t thank Hanscoop Films enough for working with us and creating an incredible movie we’ll watch for years to come. From the beginning, Brian showed so much kindness and enthusiasm in all of our emails and then in person. He is quick to respond to any question you have and you can trust him with bringing your vision to life. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera, with a few suggestions to create moments that would look great on film — whether that was having us run through a field post-ceremony or capturing guests breaking it down on the dance floor. During the editing process, he asks you to select an instrumental to edit to the video, and he was able to select additional ones that captured our vibe. It was so nice to relive our wedding day from the multiple angles and perspectives. All of his cuts drove our wedding story forward, and captured both the fun, lighthearted moments and the more tender ones that featured the emotional highs of the day. Without us having to ask, he also provided subtitles for my grandma during the tea ceremony when she was speaking Cantonese. That was a thoughtful feature that was much appreciated. Brian’s attention to detail is outstanding and my brother even asked to hire him for his wedding shortly after. You couldn’t make a better choice when hiring a wedding videographer and I would absolutely recommend.

Brian is an amazing videographer and was able to take important clips during our wedding. He was also very professional and worked with our photographers so well during the wedding day, almost like they are from the same team. He was also very accommodating regarding the changes we requested (ie added some clips that we really liked in the final video). Highly recommend!
Timeless, brilliant, and so much more
Brian filmed our wedding June 28, 2024. From the moment we connected and communicated, Brian stood out to us through his professionalism and kindness. Followed by looking at his work I just fell in love with the way he was able to mold all the special moments together in such a beautiful way. The entire process with Hanscoop films was just incredibly easy, I will never forget that. He was always quick to respond, and truly heard our vision and made it come to life. My favorite compliment I could give Brian, though there are many, he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. When we watched the video, we had no idea he was able to capture all that he did. I cried, laughed, and felt the beautiful day all over again. Brian exceeded our expectations I would recommend Hanscoop Films 10 times over again.
