“Let me just start by saying that I’m not a cake person. I’ve never been a fan of it - especially store bought; they’re always too sweet and the cake always tastes the same. So when it came time for a wedding cake, my husband and I decided to do a small two tier cutting cake just for ceremonial purposes. HOWEVER, when I tasted Konditormeister’s red velvet cake, my mind was blown. It was absolutely delicious - not too sweet, super moist and buttery, and absolutely amazing. We went with their strawberry gran marnier cake as the top tier and the red velvet for the bottom. Everyone who got a piece of either cake also raved about how god they were. The only complaint that I had, which is why I dropped my rating to 4 stars, was that the added decoration that we requested was not worth the 50 we spent. Despite sending pictures, the decoration didn’t come out well. So my suggestion would be to stick with the stock decorations that you’re shown at the store and if you want something special, have it made somewhere else and added when you pick the cake up.”
