The Vintage DJ presents the most electrifying music of the 20th Century as it was meant to be experienced! Spinning only original 45s, 33s and 78s from the 1920s through the 1970s on two tube-powered vintage record players, The Vintage DJ arrives and we hear that unique sound, filling the air with the feeling that anything is possible. His killer record collection runs the gamut between Jazz and Latin, Soul and R&B, Rock ’n’ Roll, British Invasion, Reggae and much more. As The Vintage DJ, Jonathan has been setting dance floors alight from New York City to Shanghai to Los Angeles.

Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers formed in 2001 as a loose collective of musicians from various backgrounds who got together to play country music for fun. By the mid-aughts the band (now firmly centered around Yours Truly, Sean Kershaw) was a well-honed, professional music outfit playing everything from club dates to weddings, festivals and corporate and charity events. A CD, Coney Island Cowboy was released and the band hit the road, touring the East coast, California and Alaska. Sean also toured Australia using local musicians. Fast forward to 2023 the band is going strong, playing monthly gigs in Brooklyn and events everywhere.

Corporate associations range from Google to Samsung, and leading hospitality icons such as Jean Georges, Mario Batali, Bouley and LDV.

After years working at a luxury entertainment design company in NYC, I noticed a void in live music, one where planners saw music as the background to the main event rather than something that can guide and elevate it. The bands weren’t listening to the room. We should make deliberate music choices based on the people in it, reacting to them. Not the other way around. My desire to create this harmony sparked the founding of Honey+Vinyl in 2013. Ten years in the industry, she began to dive deeper into the science of sound; how lighting, décor, food and timing interact with music, which drove her to establish the Sonic Sommelier™ service.
