Jill truly is THAT girl! From her keen eye for detail to incredible patience and personalization, from the start we knew our experience was going to be top notch. Jill worked with us to create a menu that spoke to all of our childhood favorites and tastes from home that had all of our guests watering at at the mouth, and some even bonding over what some of the dishes meant to us and our families. As a Miami native and Italian American (respectively), we wanted the food to touch on our love of Latin and Italian food, which Jill touched on perfectly (especially with the meatballs and empanadas!). From day 1, Jill was truly Team Shelby and Jordan, and for that we could not be more grateful.

    Chef Mellanee and The Fork Goes on the Left absolutely blew us (and our guests) away. We wanted an elevated take on African and Caribbean comfort foods, and she delivered beyond expectations. The crab cakes during cocktail hour were a hit (people are still talking about them!), and our sweetheart meal — a rich shellfish stew — was unforgettable. I genuinely wish I could have that meal again. What really stood out was Chef Melanie’s professionalism and care. From our private tasting( photos attached ) to day-of service, everything was seamless. Her communication was clear, her staff was friendly and attentive, and she worked so collaboratively with us — even down to helping with mixers for our bar setup. I have multiple food allergies, and her team went above and beyond to accommodate them safely without compromising on taste or presentation. And as a final touch, she surprised us with a thoughtful card and gift — such a sweet gesture that perfectly captured the warmth she brings to her work.             You don't realize it, but you do a TON of work with your catering, starting with the food itself, but you also have to work with them on things like rental furniture and the day-of schedule. You end up interacting with this vendor the most, and I was super glad we had Patty who was easy to work with and super organized every step of the way. She was so flexible and even biked across the city to meet us a couple times! Also the food was fantastic. We had so many amazing options to choose from, and it was hard to narrow down. But they also made sure that our selects made sense. We had two potato dishes, and they double checked that was on purpose. It was! :) We love potatoes. Also, the staff on the day-of was super professional and so nice to our guests! Everything was perfect!

              We can't rave about Pheasant Catering enough! They catered our wedding and we were truly blown away, as were our 200 guests. We got so many compliments about the food, especially the harvest table. We had a late night kebab station and passed desserts, which were all delicious. The staff is the best of the best. Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially for allergies and dietary needs. They were so easy to work with from start to finish, and made planning easy and fun. Thank you for making everything so organized and seamless!

              We booked Lemons & Olives for our February 2025 wedding in Brooklyn, NY at Wild East Brewing. Both my partner and I are vegan, and it was important to both of us that we pick a caterer who could make a genuinely excellent, 100% vegan menu. These guys knocked it out of the park. With a few tweaks, Marko created a menu designed for two food stations featuring grilled pizzas and tacos, all of which were vegan and mouthwatering. At our tasting, we narrowed it down to three options for each, with nut-free and gluten-free options for guests with restrictions. A standout were the squash blossom tacos – we had multiple NYC-based guests ask if L&O has a brick-and-mortar location where they can get the tacos because they’re the best they’ve had on this coast! While our venue had space for catering, they have no in-house kitchen equipment. Marko suggested that the L&O truck pull right up to the loading dock and bring the hot food inside to our guests at serving stations in the venue. It was the perfect solution! Throughout the experience, Marko and Tanja were super easy to work with, genuine and down-to-earth about everything including pricing, and their staff ran things smoothly on the day. Finding a NYC caterer who is honest about their fees and offerings was one of the hardest steps of the planning process, but once we found Lemons & Olives, it became one of the best, most memorable parts of the wedding!

                  As soon as we visited On the Marc for our food tasting, we knew that the food would be fantastic—and more on that in a minute—but OTM really set itself apart with the service. They greeted our guests with flavored waters when they arrived (hugely helpful for a mid-summer wedding), had servers ready with drinks and food as soon as cocktail hour started, prepared an appetizer platter for a quick private moment as newlyweds, and much much more. A few things stick out over all though: first, the servers were so attentive that they realized a friend of mine was absolutely smashing one of the appetizers and kept bringing those to her (even learning to take the mint leaf off as she did). Second, they rolled with the punches as we realized we may have screwed up some food placards, accommodating our request to check with each guest to make sure we had it right. Third, they had servers march out all at the same time to bring courses during dinner services, a super-professional touch which gave the service a white-glove-service feel. The food was delicious, and everyone kept commenting on it (even on the dance floor where they brought desserts!!). Overall, the food was amazing, the only thing better than the food was the service, and we highly recommend OTM to anyone considering them!

                  Working with Evalyn, Cortney, and the team at Dish was a truly incomparable experience! I had the pleasure of getting to know Dish a few years back at my first job and had told my contact at the time, Bonnie, that I would definitely be back when it was time for me to host my big event - my wedding. After reconnecting with the Dish team, in particular speaking with Evalyn, we couldn't have felt more confident that it was the right fit for our big day. From the personalized menu, to the in house tasting, and the amazing day of coordinator, Cortney, the most important and expensive party we ever threw (and likely ever will) was in the best hands. When any changes or adjustments came up the team was eager to help make our vision come to life. A few weeks before when I wanted to do another itinerary run through, Cortney, was not just game, but so enthusiastic and supportive. As small things came up day of, Evalyn and Cortney were on it and as we were packing up, the whole Dish team helped us pack up and carry out our numerous flower arrangements. We truly couldn't have pulled this off without Dish and are so grateful for their partnership. Thank you, Dish!

Led by groundbreaking chef/designer duo of Bob Spiegel + TJ Girard, Pinch is driven by an uncompromising commitment to incite surprise, anticipation + delight with every bite while wowing our clients + their guests with imaginative presentation combinations that redefine the art of celebration.

                  We worked with Pinch for our wedding at the Weylin in Brooklyn and they really exceeded our expectations and were incredible to work with. - Multicultural wedding - Pinch is one of the few caterers we've found who was able to incorporate Indian cuisine seamlessly, along with American fare, which was very important to us. And Pinch was able to do this in a way that felt authentic to us and created a menu that was balanced and complementary (pani puri and Biryani Arancini for example) - Innovative: Pinch's pop-ups during cocktail hour and dessert are very unique and were naturally a point of conversation for our guests. The crispy potato sandwiches served hanging down from an umbrella and the compressed fruit cocktails that replicated the US Open's Honey Deuce went beyond what we thought we could expect for the food at our wedding - Attention to detail: Pinch's service is quite a bit better than what we've experienced from caterers at other weddings. For instance, Pinch's team only served a table when each guest's food at a given table was ready and all plates are served simultaneously, which feels like more like what you'd experience at a higher end restaurant vs. the conveyer belt-style service you typically see at a wedding Several of our guests told us they were chasing around Pinch staff during cocktail hour to try more of the food and said that this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding.

                  we booked our wedding with VCC and came for our exclusive food tasting a few days ago to meet Eduard and his team not only was the stunning view onto the east river from the 23rd floor pleasing, but we also were pleased with all the suggestions Eduard brought to the table. We loved the colours and the taste. We feel very comfortable and in good hands, with VCC they have done this many times before one can tell ....we look forward to our special day.
