A Virginia native, I’ve been surrounded by nature my entire life, but never more so than when I spent summers on my Grandmother’s 300-acre farm in West Virginia. She raised me to appreciate nature’s beauty and explore what I could create myself. My Grandmother was a powerful woman, raising two babies after having been recently widowed, while also pioneering the farm and putting herself through law school. It is after her that I named my business Mountain Mama Florals. With every event and every client, I strive to provide the level of attention, appreciation, and creativity that she taught me to value.

My passion for floral design began over twenty years ago in a greenhouse in a small Michigan town, traveled through the mountains of Colorado and Arizona, to the beaches of Southern California, settling in Washington, DC.
