After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Born into a family of photographers in India, Vishal Sehgal began his journey behind the lens at fourteen, shooting his first wedding alongside his father, who founded their studio in 1965. Moving to New York in 1996, he built on that legacy to become a leading luxury wedding photographer. Blending timeless artistry with modern sophistication, Vishal is known for his refined style and ability to capture the emotion, elegance, and essence of every celebration he photographs.

To date, there are only two images of me as a child. The first is my passport photo at the age of 1.5 months, the second is an image of me at the age of 8. Because of this, I have a deeper understanding, value and passion for photographs and imagery. With that said, I purchased my first camera at the age of 16 with my first paycheck! (used to flip burgers at a local Roy Rogers!). With that camera, I quickly learned how much I loved the art of documenting life with imagery and in 2012, I left a 16 year career in healthcare to follow my dream of becoming a photographer. I haven't looked back one day since then.
