Everyone at Live Oak made it easy for us to achieve the wedding setup we envisioned. From showing us photos of the space with others' decor, to sending us links with suggestions, coming to the venue to help us plan at times that worked for us, working with us to create a checklist and timeline, and showing up early/ staying late to clean up, we felt that the people at Live Oak really wanted to help us achieve the wedding that worked for us. On the day of the wedding, it was nice to have the Cottage as a room to prep and primp, and I was able to see the arriving guests while staying unseen. We also stored flowers in the kitchen fridge, which helped keep them fresh. Overall, we were consulted as to our wishes prior to the event, then during the actual wedding, things that needed to be done "behind the scenes" were taken care of, which left us able to focus on our guests and each other.

After going back and forth with ideas of a wedding and elopement, we decided to elope at the courthouse in hopes of getting married on our dating anniversary. Unfortunately, the Courthouse can be booked months in advance so we were looking for a nice venue to host us with less than a month away. That's where the USSB came in. With the micro-wedding package, we were able to have a low-cost, intimate, and beautiful wedding ceremony. Joanie was very accommodating with arranging short notice visits to the venue and with entertaining our ideas as we honed in our vision for the wedding. Her and John even took care of the day-of-coordination, allowing our florist to set up the pews and altar and the photographer to post above for some aerial shots. On the wedding day, everything went seamless and stress-free. We can't thank them enough for accommodating us so last minute. We also get so many compliments on the look of the church itself which is always great to hear! There is a also a beautiful park (Keck Alice Park) across the street where we got some amazing photos as well.

We had our wedding reception at SB Courthouse Distillery, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We used their Distillers Lounge for a 50 person sit dinner and dancing afterwards. From the moment we began planning, Melody, our event coordinator, was incredibly responsive and made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. She kept everything on track and answered all our questions quickly, which took a huge load of stress off our shoulders. On the day of the event, Andrew, the event manager, was onsite and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. Having the option to set up the day before and pick up the following day was a total game-changer and made everything so much easier. The bar team was fantastic. Matt, our bar manager, was not only kind and helpful but made the best old fashions and whiskey sour we've ever had. Matt even stepped in as an impromptu DJ by connecting his own phone to the Bluetooth so our guests could dance all night long. Peyton, the second bartender, was wonderful too, also making amazing whiskey sours and shooters. The location itself is perfect. Just a 2 minute walk from the courthouse with such a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. Our guests can't stop raving that the food was hands down the best wedding food they've ever had. Highly recommend the braised short ribs!! To top it off, the pricing was the most fair and reasonable compared to every other venue we checked out. We received well beyond what we expected and cannot recommend SB Courthouse Distillery enough to anyone looking for the ideal wedding venue with exceptional staff who truly care. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special!
