The Bradford barn takes the cake when it comes to ELEGANCE. I worked as a photographer at every location the Olympia Fields Park District has to offer and they all receive five stars from me. The thing that gives Olympia Fields Park District the Superior advantage over other locations and park districts is the option to have everything set up how you want it. From the catering to the layout to the design, they don't get in your way. Most banquet halls force your hand when it comes to catering or using their partners, but the Olympia Fields Park District let's you host your event how you would like to. Also their locations bring a different kind of highly upscale energy. When you host an event in the Olympia Fields Park District, there's a certain level of excellence and class that comes with it. “We just had our wedding at Chicago Winery in December and it was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful and speaks for itself - very little decor needed. It's particularly beautiful for a fall/winter "dinner party" vibe (which is what we were looking for) with the dark wood and dim lights. Chris was our venue coordinator and he was amazing - answering our million questions and helping make the day go exactly as we hoped! The food was also amazing - even better than the tasting which was a delight :) We had SO many guests come up to us raving about the space and the food, which is all you could hope for! “100% would recommend Walden for a stress-free wedding experience!!! We knew Walden was our venue when we read about their full-service wedding packages including planners, kitchen/bar all under one roof. After we toured the venue, we could not wait to have our wedding here. Our main planners were Hannah and Briscel, and we had the pleasure of a 3rd planner, Ally with a last-minute day-of staffing change. Hannah and Briscel took the stress out of wedding planning, keeping us on track with every detail and vendor. Ally made sure the wedding day ran seamlessly. One of the best things we loved about working with the planners was their recommendations for local vendors (floral, DJ, photography etc.). Their assistance contacting and coordinating calls/quotes from vendors was also a huge help. Every possible detail regarding the wedding was accounted for, so we were certain nothing would be missed along the way. Now for the fun part, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and better than we ever dreamt. The coordinators kept us on schedule and sent an itinerary in advance, so everyone knew where to be and what was coming up next. They handled all of the communication with vendors and all the little details, so we could fully be present on our wedding day. We did not have any moments of stress, or panic, and was rarely asked any questions or to do any tasks. The Walden team set everything up for us from the welcome sign to the memorial table and of course the gorgeous reception room. It’s like suddenly we got teleported into our Pinterest vision board! A big shout out to Nick and Matt, the kitchen and bar staff. They were absolutely amazing! The drinks were awesome, the bartenders could make any drink guests wanted including mocktails. The food was incredible, so many guests complimented on how delicious their meals were. We also really appreciated their accommodations for various food restrictions and preferences. Overall, the Walden staff has truly thought of everything. They made the very daunting task of planning a wedding much more manageable, and made the whole day that much more special. Could not think of a better venue in the area for folks planning a wedding!”

Once she realized her knack for event organization and planning, the studio was quickly born.

“Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!”

“We got married on June 10th, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois and hired gordino photo and video for videography. Godfred was an amazing person to work with and made us feel very comfortable. He worked well with our photographers which is always a good thing! He was extremely professional the entire day and captured all of our favorite moments. The video quality and editing turned out amazing! We were ecstatic with the results. We were provided with a short trailer only a week after our wedding. This made us even more excited for the cinematic film and raw footage. And those did not disappoint! Everyone we showed them to absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend Godfrey to capture all your wedding memories!”

She helped us feel more confident about the thousands of small details in the entire process, from our first Zoom meeting with her to the engagement photo shoot to the final shots on our wedding day 2. She is incredibly thorough as a communicator. We never had any question about what she needed or what she was doing before, during, or after the ceremony. And she was even very communicative via email with our moms(!) 3. She is so organized but also so creative. She kept our wedding day smooth by planning out all the posed shots needed, and she got all photos back to us in an always impressive timeframe. But she was also always open for a surprising shot or a little experiment. It made her work feel even more personal 4. She was a rock star on our wedding day, if you couldn’t tell. And she was a super fun hang during our engagement photo session, which featured Emma, my wife, and I improvising playful shots during a sudden rain storm(!) 5. Most of all, when she’s taking photos of you, her excitement in that moment fires you up more and makes you feel so comfortable. She makes you feel like your pictures are the best wedding photos ever taken. (But ours were, obviously)”

“Tom was the ABSOLUTE best! I did not meet Tom face to face until the day of my wedding but from the videos I watched and the conversations we had I knew he would do great work....and I was not wrong! He was a videographer ninja. The day after I barely remembered him being around and was actually a bit worried he might have missed something but he captured it allllll. We received the teaser within a day of the wedding and it was magical. Our full length film and highlight were provided under 3 months and we absolutely loved all the shots he captured for our day. I wish I could relive every moment and with all the raw footage we received I almost can. People commented on the teaser film saying it looked like it was made in Hollywood...Tom is that good (better)! The videos we received are beautiful and he truly paid attention to details that mattered to us. I don't know what else to say except you can't go wrong by choosing Tom!”

“Trish and her team did a fantastic job with my wedding day hair and makeup. She was on time and organized, and we were able to get the whole wedding party done up in style. (She even accommodated some groomsmen requests for a little under eye concealer after a late night before the wedding) I wanted to feel like a princess on my wedding day, and Trish delivered, complete with working the tiara into the wedding style. Trish also did a fabulous job with a different look that I wore in my engagement photos. The photos turned out so well and I had never felt prettier in my life, except on my wedding day! On the wedding morning, though, I wanted a slightly different hairstyle and makeup look to mix things up - Trish was able to see my vision even without a Pinterest inspo pic and I was stunned when I looked in the mirror. I felt gorgeous and confident - thank you Tricia and Glow Bridal team!”

He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.”
