Not only were the photographers (John and the associate photographer Craig) professional, they went above and beyond on the big day to make us comfortable. Our venue did not have many picturesque spots for photography, but John and Craig killed it! They made it work and caught amazing photos outside and inside the venue as well. They talked to us like we were good friends, and posing for the shots was made simple and easy. They shot over 1,500 photos, all of which captured the moment and were very special to us. They are very high quality, and when I tell you the turnaround time for the photos was fast, well, it was FAST. They had those photos ready for us within 3 weeks. They took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so comfortable with them, and they made the trial fun and relaxing. On the wedding day, we decided to add Natalia to the team after discussing with the owner, and it turned out to be the best decision. Having an additional stylist really helped speed up the process, and everything ran so smoothly as a result. They brought everything they needed, including lighting, and set up in no time. They were punctual, organized, and ready to get started as soon as we arrived at the venue. Throughout the morning, Eva, Maria, and Natalia were a joy to be around. They kept the whole group on time without making it feel rushed, which was such a relief with all the wedding-day chaos. They were also fun to talk to and kept the mood light, which made the getting-ready process so enjoyable. I had a bit of a rash on my shoulder that day, and I was really concerned about it. But the team worked their magic and expertly covered it – I couldn’t even tell it was there! They also added on makeup services for my mother-in-law at the last minute, which was so thoughtful. “From the moment we were introduced to Chicago Winery, they truly lived up to their reputation for exceptional hospitality. We chose them because they promised to handle so many of the little details, and of course, you’re never sure until the actual day. But they absolutely delivered. They were transparent with all costs and fees, responsive to every email, worked closely with us throughout the planning process, and welcomed us for multiple walkthroughs before the big day. We didn’t hire a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and honestly, we didn’t need one because the team made everything so effortless. Jenn, our assigned Event Manager, was incredible. She is organized, attentive, and truly kind. Jenn is an absolute pro at what she does and handled everything with such grace, including managing family dynamics seamlessly. The entire day ran flawlessly, and we couldn’t be happier with how smooth everything felt. We also received countless compliments on how beautiful the space was. It’s naturally warm and inviting, and doesn’t require as much décor as many other venues. The food was delicious—everyone loved the Butcher's Block and short rib. The venue serves entrées French style, which means guests enjoy generous portions and leave feeling truly satisfied. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure we were always taken care of. Throughout the day, they would bring us water without us even asking, check in to see if we were hungry, and offer to bring us drinks. It truly made us feel so cared for. “We were looking for a modern, not-too-stuffy venue to host our summer 2025 wedding. We were thrilled when we found Walden and saw the beautiful, modern, space that would allow for the ceremony & reception in one location and that we could create our own vision of the day. The space is beautiful on its own but can be transformed into whatever vision you may have. With a late June wedding, we wanted it to be a colorful and intimate affair. Having the planning team on site made the process extremely smooth and it was invaluable to have their insight, experience and knowledge of the venue. Krystle and Katie were on the ball and there were no hiccups or issues during the planning process or day of (as far as we know!). They have strong relationships with our vendors (band, florist, linens, lighting, etc) which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to focus on other things. Catering in-house is a huge perk and the kitchen was top notch helping us create our non-traditional menu and food service. Bar options went well beyond typical packages in terms of quality of product and idea generation of drink selection and creation. Universally, guests said that the food and beverage were the best they had had at a wedding! Overall, we are thrilled with how everything turned out on our wedding day and much of that happiness has to do with having it at Walden!”

He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
