I went to a hair and makeup trial before the wedding, and both Eva and Maria were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so comfortable with them, and they made the trial fun and relaxing. On the wedding day, we decided to add Natalia to the team after discussing with the owner, and it turned out to be the best decision. Having an additional stylist really helped speed up the process, and everything ran so smoothly as a result. They brought everything they needed, including lighting, and set up in no time. They were punctual, organized, and ready to get started as soon as we arrived at the venue. Throughout the morning, Eva, Maria, and Natalia were a joy to be around. They kept the whole group on time without making it feel rushed, which was such a relief with all the wedding-day chaos. They were also fun to talk to and kept the mood light, which made the getting-ready process so enjoyable. I had a bit of a rash on my shoulder that day, and I was really concerned about it. But the team worked their magic and expertly covered it – I couldn’t even tell it was there! They also added on makeup services for my mother-in-law at the last minute, which was so thoughtful. My mother-in-law was absolutely thrilled with how she looked and felt so special. In the end, I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day, and I have "Hairs 2 the Bride" to thank for that. They made me, my bridal party, and my family look and feel beautiful. I can’t recommend them enough – they’re not just talented professionals, but they genuinely care about making your day perfect!”

“I booked Windy City Glam for my Sept. 2024 wedding. I only booked them for hairstyle so my review is just on my wedding day hair. I knew I wanted to have Hollywood waves on my big day, so when I found this team I knew I HAD TO BOOK THEM. I was so lucky they had my date available. They were easy to communicate with & very organized so you can easily refer back to info such as how to prep hair for wedding day, upcoming payment dates, and/or trial dates. Alex, my stylist, was sweet, accommodating, fast working but super detail oriented (everything you need for your busy morning!!!) I’m glad I did a trial for my hairstyle because that’s where we consulted on clip-in extension placement and color match. That’s also where I realized I’ll need two full bundles of clip-ins instead of one to get the full look I wanted! Trust me, do the trial! I’m extremely happy with how my hair look on my wedding day. It lasted all night long looking perfect! People were shocked that it wasn’t my real hair length because she blended everything so beautifully. (For reference my hair is shoulder length when straight) I paid to have them travel out to my wedding and I’d pay to have them come halfway around the world if I needed too! Highly recommend!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!”

Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “From the moment we were introduced to Chicago Winery, they truly lived up to their reputation for exceptional hospitality. We chose them because they promised to handle so many of the little details, and of course, you’re never sure until the actual day. But they absolutely delivered. They were transparent with all costs and fees, responsive to every email, worked closely with us throughout the planning process, and welcomed us for multiple walkthroughs before the big day. We didn’t hire a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and honestly, we didn’t need one because the team made everything so effortless. Jenn, our assigned Event Manager, was incredible. She is organized, attentive, and truly kind. Jenn is an absolute pro at what she does and handled everything with such grace, including managing family dynamics seamlessly. The entire day ran flawlessly, and we couldn’t be happier with how smooth everything felt. We also received countless compliments on how beautiful the space was. It’s naturally warm and inviting, and doesn’t require as much décor as many other venues. The food was delicious—everyone loved the Butcher's Block and short rib. The venue serves entrées French style, which means guests enjoy generous portions and leave feeling truly satisfied. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure we were always taken care of. “We booked Flowers for Dreams for our wedding and they were amazing! Out of 3 quotes we received, they were the most reasonable price. We worked with Mae who was amazing! As a type A bride, I had changed my mind quite a bit and she was always so patient and willing to adjust the proposal. When we went to view our sample, there were even changes I wanted to make to that and she reassured me that the florals would be exactly what I wanted, and they were even better than I expected! We also did greenery, light bulbs, and drapery on the ceiling which she was very encouraging about. Our wedding was lakefront, and another vendor told me we could not do a runner due to the wind. When I asked Mae if we could do a runner, she said of course!! Everything we asked was received with enthusiasm. It was truly all so beautiful and Mae completely understood the vibe we were going to. “We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Walden Chicago. From the moment we toured the venue with Maria, we knew it was the perfect place for our November 2024 wedding. A huge added perk that we quickly learned was going to make a huge difference in our wedding planning experience was the included in-house planning team. Kalila and Alyssa supported us from beginning to end. Throughout the planning process both Kalila and Alyssa were attentive and responsive. Whether they were recommending vendors, answering one of many questions, helping us sort through rehearsal dinner options, or navigating final meetings and details they were with us through every step of the way. The online planning tool you gain access to through Walden helps you stay organized and makes sure you don’t forget any detail (big or small). When we had a slight mishap with our cake the day of the wedding they had already reached out to the bakery on our behalf before the wedding was over and a partial refund for the cake was secured by the next morning. Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Kalila and Alyssa. I felt as though I did not have to worry about a thing. The planning team handled all communication with vendors and kept us on schedule which allowed for us both to be very present on our big day. I have to highlight the spacious bridal suite as it was the perfect place to start the day. With 9 bridesmaids, a mother of the bride and a mother of the groom you naturally worry about any space feeling cramped but the separate getting ready stations and lounge area allowed everyone to be relaxed and comfortable the morning of the wedding and throughout the wedding day. This was also the perfect space to be tucked away post ceremony to enjoy our first moments together as newlyweds. Walden had our signature drinks and the appetizers waiting for us to enjoy a quiet moment alone before heading down to join our cocktail hour. The rooftop at golden hour made for some breathtaking photos, the ceremony space lit with candles crated the perfect ambiance for our Friday evening ceremony, and the cocktail and reception spaces decorated to fit our vision made for the most memorable day. After the tasting party a few months prior to the wedding, we knew the food and drinks were going to be a stand out part of the evening. Because we were given multiple options for appetizers, salads, mains and drinks, we were really able to personalize the menus to our taste. Guests raved about our food and drinks. We were told by nearly every guest that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Walden seamlessly accommodated various guests food restrictions and allergies as well. As we look back on our wedding day, all we can do is smile. The combination of the beautiful spaces, top-notch planning, and incredible food and drinks made our special day even more memorable. We highly recommend Walden to any couple looking to make their Chicago wedding dreams come true.”

“I got a call right away once I made an inquiry about booking my destination wedding through Destify. Once i decided to actually use them it was still fairly easy. I wanted a resort that wasn't on their list so they said they would get with that resort and try and allow us and Destify to work with them. That took a while, and as the actual resort was emailing me back, the sales person at Destify said they were not responding to her. Then I quit getting responses from my original destify sales girl. Eventually I expressed my frustration with her and things started moving better. We got the resort that i wanted booked (and i am soooo appreciative of that because the resort was perfect) and i moved on to a new group at destify. Kelly, Brandie, & Matt. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!! I can't express enough how good and easy it was working with them. Any questions I had it was answered so quickly. I asked Matt for a QR code and it was done so fast.. much faster than I expected. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
