The Hive is a beautiful event center located in Staley, NC. We are situated on 200 acres of rolling farm land in Randolph county NC. Our facility began life as the clubhouse for Ferguson Farms Golf Course. When the golf course closed in 2012, it sat abandoned until our family came across the land. We came across this gem while we were searching for a larger property to expand our farm. It had been neglected for so many years, but we immediately saw great potential in its natural beauty, barns, and clubhouse. The streams, ponds, and woodlands teamed with wildlife and we just knew this farm had to been revived into something new, a place where joy, laughter and unity would be experienced.

Sanctuary Farm is a wedding venue located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This environmentally conscious wedding venue is nestled just eight miles west of Chapel Hill. Guided by sustainable practices, it operates solely on solar power and boasts a flourishing community garden. At Sanctuary Farm, they take pride in offering a level of rustic elegance and unparalleled hospitality to ensure your wedding is a truly memorable experience. The farm sits on a picturesque landscape and can accommodate up to 180 of your guests. Within the renovated barn, you will find a full-service catering kitchen with enclosed and open lofts designed to accommodate rehearsal dinners and receptions. We are your destination wedding location within driving distance! Luna’s Trail Farm and Event Center specializes in creating memorable events of all kinds, both large and small. There are 2 spacious centers, The Luna’s Trail Venue and The Big Creek Lodge, which are located on opposite sides of the property from each other. There are also Cabins and Lodge Rooms available for rent for an event or for a weekend getaway, and we will be able to sleep up to 84 on t he property by the Spring of 2026. While here, guests can enjoy beautiful views of Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain, miles of hiking trails, a pond, a large creek, and plenty of wildlife and nature. There is also a brand new Aerial Adventure Course, and we have plans for a swimming pool and hot tub by the Spring of 2026!
