A realistic review
Pros: band is good and kept the party going. Sean is a great emcee and our guests had fun. They took requests and were friendly. Cons: If you are a type A bride I would not book them. Sean is not very responsive or punctual. We talked to him maybe 2 times in the planning and I had to email him a lot of times to get a responsive. He posts on social media a lot about his health and it gave me a lot of anxiety about whether or not he’d show up. It made the planning process harder in my opinion. Sean played most of the songs we asked as a DJ not as the band which is ok but not what we talked about when we booked. I reminded him about it too. A few people were upset with the lack of professionalism including our coordinator and the venue. I don’t know if the band was drinking because I didn’t see but that was the complaint.
Not this band
Our wedding was May 24, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA. Sean showed up late and set up late. He remained unprofessional the entire wedding. We asked him to stop playing two hours into the reception because he was talking more than he was playing any way. He was so drunk he hit on bridesmaids and made them uncomfortable. And he got upset they were uncomfortable! The guitar player tried to help but Sean kept going back up to the bar or out to his car. If I could give one star, I would. He was not helpful in the planning process and aside from a spreadsheet of questions, he didn’t communicate with us at all. We don’t know how he could have so many good reviews?
Future Brides Listen Up
Okay, Future Brides this is the best advice I can give you. Sean and his crew are the best of the best! If you want a fun, easy going wedding band, with the best of the best, Walk of Love is they play every song you want to hear, incorporate all your the BEST! Sean is extremely laid back, funny, easy to work with, guests, there fun, and awesome! I personally danced all night long; I could not have asked for a better band/ dj duo. I had texts and calls all week saying how much they loved the band. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Splurge, and book them they will make your big day that much better!
Dance Floor Never Emptied!
Sean and Walk of Shame made sure the party never stopped at our wedding. They even took requests on the fly from our guests! We had so much fun!
