Our journey began in 2012 when Natalie first stepped into the world of weddings and immediately knew she’d found her true passion. After years of behind-the-scenes experience, we have the honor of helping couples bring their wedding dreams to life with intention, beauty, and ease. Formerly known as Calder’s Creations, our rebrand to Nathalia Rose Events reflects a fresh, romantic approach to planning, with a focus on personal connection, seamless execution, and thoughtful details. We specialize in creating a stress-free experience that feels like working with family.

    My fiance and I decided to hire Natalie over the summer and we started off great. However, 2 months after hiring her, she pretty much ghosted us. Only after I repeatedly reached out to her did she communicate that she was dealing with family issues, we understood that family came first and she ensured us an assistant of hers would reach out, however, a month went by and no one reached out. After awhile I again kindly reached out to see if she was okay and offer sympathy with the fact that she was dealing with a lot and offered her an out if she felt it was all too much, but she insisted the worst was over and that she ready to get back to it. The plan was to find a caterer next at this point, but a month went by and she did not communicate anything regarding catering or the progress thereof unless I consistently reached out. At one point i asked her if she had anyone caterers reach back out her after sending an inquiry and her response was “tbh my email stopped working so if they did I would not know lol”. I also asked for help with a hotel block that she agreed to help us with, but never did. In the 4 months we had her, i found and booked the venue, caterer, Photobooth, DJ, bartender and photographer while she found and booked 1 vendor. The communication was below average. We decided to spend money on a planner to reduce my stress planning the wedding, however the entire situation gave me more stress than doing it on my own. Although I understand and fully sympathize with the fact that she had serious family issues going on, I really wish she would have taken the out we offered her when everything began. When we decided to move in a different direction and essentially let her go, given the circumstances we asked for half of our deposit back, she refused to do half and offered us 331 back, after asking for an itemized receipt and she charged us for a full hit meeting on a day where she ended the call 30 minutes early to deal with her family. I brought this up to her and she refused to refund that back and then decreased the refund amount. She also blocked us from being able to message her via the WhatsApp that she required us to have for communication (she did this before we signed the contract termination as well). We initially hired her because of all the great reviews we saw. Maybe we had such poor experience because of her circumstances, however, again, if she knew the gravity of her situation, she should have been honest about it instead of running in circles with us.

    Alana, Laura, and Monica were amazing, especially given the short notice of being assigned to our event. They handled everything as best as they could with the limited communication and information provided to them. Each of them was very sweet, helpful, and understanding. However, I’ll be honest—I would not recommend NRE company to anyone. In the final weeks leading up to my wedding, communication with our main wedding planner (Nathalia) lacked. I felt lost and unsure of what was happening, to the point where I was searching TikTok for “how to plan a wedding” or “what do wedding planners do” While I understand she was dealing with personal issues, the moment she realized she couldn’t handle my wedding, she should have been upfront with us. Instead, she continued to assure us that things were being handled. For example she kept telling me she was working on a mockup of the venue but to tell me later - she didn’t have a layout. So was never working on it. I did it myself. She suggested vendors that she doesn’t know what they really offer. I lost a 150 deposit because the vendor she suggested would not rent tables/chairs without renting a tent. We had canceled the tent from her suggestion of leaving the venue open for nature. Which was funny that I booked the tent because of her in the first place. I wish, my experience was different working with her because I did read good reviews about her and I wish my wedding would’ve been handled the same like her other clients. Additionally, I reached out to her before deciding to post this and she was dismissive about my feedback. Did not take accountability or ownership on her part. She should handle business better. I’m only giving 3 stars because of Alana and Laura saving my wedding day(they deserve 5 stars). Or she would’ve received 1 star. Her services felt more like a day-of coordinator rather than wedding planning. Don’t let her website fool you, she doesn’t commit to what it says she offers.

    Hiring Natalie as our coordinator was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. She handled every issue that came up with such grace, professionalism, and calm that we never had to stress. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she managed everything with compassion and genuine care. From start to finish, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and that we felt supported every step of the way. She was truly outstanding, and we are so grateful for her. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone planning a wedding—you will not regret having her on your team!

    I had the pleasure of working with Sherita and Natalie for an event at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria. From the first call through the walkthrough and event day itself, Sherita was professional, punctual, and detail oriented. As the venue coordinator, she made my job so much easier, handling everything from the timeline and vendors coordination to setup and decor. Their organization made this a successful event, I would highly recommend working with them!
