Where are you guys based out of?

We operate in the Bay Area but film all over California! From Sacramento to San Francisco and all the way down to Los Angeles and San Diego for destination weddings.

How many videographers will be at our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

There will always be at least two videographers at your wedding unless otherwise specified in your package.

We hired a photographer. Why hire a professional videographer too?

Accepted Answer

We love photos and want you to hire a photographer. Ideally you’d hire both. If you can’t, you have a tough decision to make. We personally feel that video captures the emotions, the sounds, the energy, the vibe, and the feel of your wedding day in a way that still photos just can’t.

How do I reserve my wedding date?

We will send you a contract for your personalized package. We request a retainer of 50% of your package to reserve your date.

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, and we can furnish proof if requested by the venue. Our videographers are also personally insured in addition to our business general liability insurance.

Do you record the vows?

Yes! We capture the vows with high quality audio devices for clear playback on your video.

Question 7

I see others limit their recording hours. Do you limit hours?

We do not have a limit on hours. We film until we’ve captured everything we need to tell your story. Generally, from when you’re getting ready in the morning, till you formally exit your wedding reception. We want you to love your film and capture everything you care about.

Do we get to meet you before the wedding?

Absolutely. We’d love to meet before the wedding! If you live pretty close to where we’re located we can grab a coffee and say Hi. Otherwise we can setup a video chat beforehand to go over details and say hello.

Do you get along with the Photographer?

You obviously haven’t met us. We get along with everyone. We’re pretty dang likable people. But yes, photographers tend to love us. We’re super respectful of photographers, great communicators, and always ensure that we work collaboratively to get you the best results.

What camera equipment do you use?

We prefer to be as unobtrusive as possible on your wedding day. We film with the powerful but compact Canon R5 and Canon C70. We also employ a range of wide and telephoto lenses to ensure we grab every moment near or far

How long after the wedding do I get my film?

This can vary, but normally our turn around time is 7-12 weeks. We’ve never gone over those deadlines, ever! Sometimes It’s actually a lot quicker, but it just depends on where in the year your wedding lands and the amount of backlog we have at the time.

What video format do you record in?

Available formats are 4K UHD, and Full-HD. Compression is typically Raw or ALL-I, in either 8 or 10-bit 4:2:2 H.265 / HEVC.

How do I receive my films?

All of our films are delivered digitally. This helps keep the integrity of the films intact and makes delivery practically instant. In addition to that, we do offer the option of receiving your film on physical media (USB Drive, External HDD).

In our third year now and we’re passing around 20 beautiful love stories told.

What are “raw video” files?

In short, raw video files are the raw, unprocessed, unedited, individual video clips that come straight from our cameras. We’re filming all day and often there are moments we film on your wedding day that do not make it into the final video. Some couples would like to see every moment and angle that was captured, uncut. For this, we offer the raw video files as available for purchase.

What if you have not filmed a wedding at my venue before?

There’s a first time for everything and if we have not filmed at your specific venue before, our team visits the location to scout long before your wedding date so that we can properly plan and prepare.

Question 17

Do you book more than one wedding per day?

Accepted Answer

No. Your wedding is the single most important event to us and we will not spread ourselves thin or be distracted by another event. There is no other place we'd rather be than at your wedding and it deserves 100% of our focus.
