From liaising with our venue to managing vendors to ensuring that our gratuities got to the right destinations to organizing/setting up our décor, cards, favors (etc., etc., etc.) to helping me change into my reception dress and ensuring my antique wedding gown got back to our hotel room safely in its garment bag: she truly did it all with kindness, professionalism, fun and warmth. He was great about staying in contact even when we were far out from making big decisions, as we creeped closer and closer to the big day we began meeting monthly or bi-weekly. I never had one moment throughout the entire planning process where I had concern for his bandwidth or frustrations that either I or my other vendors may have caused. What I think I loved most, was his understanding of my vision. He took the time to understand what my husband and I both wanted and envisioned. On the big day, Dave was like the wind - he was EVERYWHERE but NOWHERE. I didn't have one person (vendor related) speak to me and when issues did arise, they always will no matter how hard you plan, he was able to make executive decisions without a hesitation knowing I had full trust in him. I couldn't imagine having done the wedding without him and am forever grateful for these past 2 years. I can't wait to hire him back in 15-20 years for a renewal ;)

If you get the chance to have Claire work on your wedding, consider yourself lucky. Claire is a DREAM to work with and elevated our wedding beyond expectations. We came to her with a big ask: pull off a multi-day, inter-religious, multi-cultural wedding weekend in NYC. Claire more than delivered on both our Bangladeshi Gaye Holud and American wedding events. Her full planning service was the best wedding decision we made, hands down. Claire is well-connected in the industry because everyone she works with loves her. This helped us select top-quality vendors. Her 10 years of experience pulled through when she uncovered problematic vendor contract clauses that we initially overlooked. She led every site visit and asked important questions we wouldn’t have thought of. She kept us on track over the course of 14 months, so we didn’t rush or make hasty decisions as our wedding date approached. Planning with Claire was a great experience. She always returned our emails quickly and thoughtfully (and trust me, we emailed her A LOT). The fact that she is a part-time planner gave us no cause for concern. Her corporate experience came in handy for us as a working couple; we bonded over our love for spreadsheets and lists. Our Gaye Holud event in particular had many moving parts and vendors, but Claire swiftly kept track of everyone’s responsibilities. Her efforts helped uncover and resolve problems before the event took place. Claire is a creative force, too. She never planned a Bangladeshi event before, but gave us great ideas and solutions when we encountered a problem. Her flexibility and creativity is a large part of why we chose her as our planner. Day-of coordination was fantastic. Claire dealt with locked out vendors, missing items, and delayed timelines seamlessly. We were so impressed with how Claire handled every situation with poise, and it really made our day feel so much less stressful. A bonus? My husband and I attempted to plan our entire wedding ourselves, but about 4-5 months prior I totally panicked when I realized I just didnt know what I didnt know; Enter Liz (a godsend!). Liz is fantastic to work with - she's calm, well organized, and creative. Exactly what you need from a planner! Liz helped us think of every last thing we needed to prep for before our wedding weekend so that there weren't any surprises. Liz interfaced extremely well with our other vendors and kept them on track leading up to and day of. She kept everyone informed as we developed and fine tuned our detailed day of schedule, which ensured everything went smoothly. When it comes to creativity, Liz is who you want in your corner. She has a talent for calligraphy and hand wrote all of our place cards, hand painted names on all of the ribbons around our menus (and hunted through stores for the perfect ribbon color), hand painted our table numbers, and got a special stamp made of one of the key design elements throughout our wedding. Liz and her team also constructed 100 welcome bags from the various items I shipped to her and then hand delivered all of them to our different hotel blocks. After our wedding, she and her staff even packed up and stored all the items from the wedding overnight and then delivered them to us the next day. These were the types of things I didn’t know how to plan for (and that kept me up at night) before we hired Liz, and she just simply handled them without an issue. If you are looking for full or partial planning, I highly recommend working with Liz!

Joy was incredible to work with as our Month Of Coordinator, can’t recommend her and the Taylored Events team enough! We’d already selected our venue, vendors, and design, but wanted support with ironing out final details, timelines, and day-of logistics. We initially weren’t sure if we needed a coordinator to begin with, but are so glad we went with them, especially because it made the day completely stress free, not only for us as the couple, but just as importantly, for our family and wedding party. Joy gave us a spreadsheet to help us check off everything we needed for planning, created our timeline down to the minute for the day of, coordinated all communication with vendors leading up to and throughout the wedding, oversaw our rehearsal walk-through the day before (on site), and set up our decor for us. Special touches included being so kind to our flower girls and keeping them entertained (thank you to Joy’s assistant, Lindsey) during speeches, taking phenomenal candids and Polaroids throughout (we had a camera out for guests to use during reception, pic attached), and helping with my quick dress change. Joy & team are super organized, friendly, diligent, professional, and flexible — and they really care about everyone having a great time. Huge thanks for all you did to allow us to be 100% present with each other and with our loved ones on our special day!

I don’t think I could say enough good things about Kayce. She is so attentive with her work. She knows everything you need to make your day perfect, and she has it on hand through her inventory so you don’t have to do all the extra work! When things went a little crazy on my wedding day (I’m talking outdoor flooding, pop up tents blowing away, and a last minute ceremony location change), she handled everything with ease and grace! She was able to locate a shop vac to remove water, locate an additional tent set up, and coordinate everyone who was helping out to make my day happen! Things were absolutely perfect with Kayce in charge. I genuinely do not know what I would have done without her! 1000000% worth it to put your faith in her to make your day magical!

I can’t count the number of times during and after our wedding I said, “hiring Christina is the best money we spent on the wedding!” I am not a planner by nature and I was dreading wedding planning. The second we hired Christina, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. She took care of all the tiny details, gave me ideas I never would have thought of, and brought our vision to life. She was so supportive throughout the whole process, answering texts and emails about absolutely everything. On the actual wedding day, I often thought that I didn’t know what we would have done without her. While our venue had a coordinator, they were not nearly as responsive and organized as Christina was. Christina will not only plan your wedding but she will be your friend throughout the whole wedding planning process. I can’t recommend her enough.
