Katelynn, Bishop and Sophia were on site for my wedding day, and coordinated it flawlessly! They did an excellent job of providing resources to make sure everything was taken care of for the day. I included decoration set up/take down services with their coordination and it made the day so easy- my family and I were fully able to relax and enjoy the day while they set up. I had the most PERFECT wedding day- I’m sure things went wrong along the way, but I never even found out about it because the eventfully designed team took care of it. They are so kind and I owe them a huge thanks for making my day go so smoothly!

Hiring Kristan as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made! I chose an a la carte kind of venue, which meant I had to source my own wedding caterer, décor, and design. When Kristan came into the picture, she helped everything run smoothly and even gave us many more ideas and recommendations to make our day so much more eventful and special! There were so many elements of my wedding and moving pieces that involved the help of friends and family, so it was inevitable that a small miscommunication between my mom and me led to missing table numbers and no bucket for our sparklers at the end of the night. However, Kristan was there and available to rescue us and she handled everything on the fly, easily smoothing out any hiccups without me, Connor, or my family and friends having to spend any time working to fix anything awry on our big day. She was a godsend! I was MOST excited about eating my wedding food, and we planned to eat before the ceremony, but the food was running behind! Kristan was so on top of things and quickly adjusted our schedule to get our food out to us within a good time! With all our planning and discussions in advance, she knew how important eating the food was to me. I'm telling y'all - I did NOT worry for a second, and I felt completely confident in Kristan's ability to care of everything. Boy did she deliver!! She also organized our rehearsal dinner, and we had so many compliments about how professional and put-together she was- she had her mic and speaker box, and it was clear she was in full control of the event! Beyond her incredible communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, Kristan has the most energetic and cheerful personality! She never made us feel bad for switching plans, changing ideas, or adjusting timelines- she rolled with it all seamlessly. That was such a huge relief, especially as someone who leans a bit more towards people-pleasing, to have someone that never made me feel bad about what I wanted and encouraged and rolled with all of my ideas with such genuine excitement! :) We love her, we've already recommended her to friends who are using her for their wedding, and we will continue to recommend her to anyone planning their big day!! I got to work with Natasha and Taiya for my November 2025 wedding. This team is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them to any couple who is preparing to host a wedding. TL; DR: However you want to celebrate your wedding, and whether you want to be super involved in planning or not, J4U is going to prioritize making your vision come to life. I actually came to J4U after a bad experience with another wedding planner we'd booked. In our introductory conversation, I found Natasha's cool confidence and willingness to listen to be refreshing. I also appreciated her excitement for my and my husband's wedding, something that was important to us as we wanted to work with someone who'd treat our special day with care. The J4U team has extensive experience running weddings effectively, which is certainly what you want. But you can also rest assured that these planners are committed to ensuring you and your partner aren't shoved into a mold of what your day is "supposed" to be. J4U has so many vendor contacts and organizational tools for its couples. They recommended a wonderful florist (Papparazi Glam), a DJ (Leonardo Event Group), a mariachi band (Mariachi Allende), and a bakery for us (Sweet Boom Bakery). Natasha also worked so well with the vendors that my husband and I found ourselves. Our photographers (The MacMeekens) repeatedly remarked how amazing Natasha is and that they loved working with them. So, however you approach building your vendor team, know that J4U will keep them organized. Finally, I want to gush about the timeline they created for us. So many people said our day would fly by, but J4U put a schedule together that felt so relaxed it could have been a normal Friday. My husband and I got to spend so much time together that day. It was a wonderful gift to be able to enjoy our special day. Throughout the entire planning process, my husband and I never felt rushed or pushed to make a specific decision. I can't thank J4U enough for the grace with which they handled the entire process.

Before I got engaged, I never spent a whole lot of time or energy thinking about what my potential wedding day would entail. As soon as we got engaged I was getting bombarded with questions from family, friends and coworkers about our upcoming wedding that we didn’t even have a set date for. Flash forward after securing our venue, I knew, as a Type A person but also pretty calm bride, I wouldn’t be able to juggle our vendors, nor know all the important day-of questions - I knew I wanted coordinators. Little did I know Catherine and Caylynn would help us to fulfill the most incredible and (most importantly) seamless wedding day. I genuinely had zero stress on my one day as a bride. And I stress, one day, because it’s monumental and something we planned for 12 months and it comes and goes so fast. We started working with a Caylynn and Catherine about 4 months out - we had an initial call where we got to know one another and our vision for our big day and from there (1) hour long call each month leading up to our date. My husband and I set up a call with our DJ 3 weeks out and he got on our call having already talked with Catherine! It was in that exact moment I knew we made the right decision to add them to our team. They delivered on everything they said they would do, they were highly communicative and accessible. Did I mention we live in Miami and had our wedding in Dallas? They we accommodating to doing everything virtually since we were not local and made adjustments when time zones were challenging. I could go on and on but if you were wondering if budgeting for wedding coordinators was worth it, with Joie de Vivre Events, it 100% is. If you’re the partner needing to convince the other one - use this review! Mine was on the fence, but looking back he would say we should have paid them triple! ;)

I found Parita on a facebook group when I requested for a day of coordinator. Parita is extremely professional and super helpful. She started every conversation with what needs to be done and what she needs from me. Parita took charge of a lot of messy situations and made it so easy for me that it took away all my stress. Additionally, she also helped me save a lot of money by showing me different things I can replace with equally beautiful but more budget-friendly options! On the day of the event, Parita and her team were swift in putting together all the decor and even coordinating with every vendor to make sure everyone was ready and there on time. If it wasn't for Parita and her team, I probably would have had a very difficult time managing a lot of the wedding planning I had to do. I cannot recommend Parita and her team enough.

Working with Lanie and America is working with the dream team. As a venue owner, I see a lot of planners and coordinators, and these two are among the best. Highly organized - time lines, seating layouts, etc. are complete and emailed at least a week in advance of the event if not sooner. Great Communication - they are very personal in their communication style, making sure all questions and issues are addressed, which makes the day of the event seamless and stress free. Super Vendor team - they are selective in the vendors they recommend so that everyone works together for the good of the entire event. Attentive - I have watched them take care of the needs of the bridal party while orchestrating the day. They also jump into help in all areas, even if it doesn't fall into the category of their "job". Caring - whether it is the bridal party or a vendor, Lanie and America care about the individual, their role and making the experience good for everyone, which in turns makes their events highly successful. I can not recommend Lanie and America and Martinez Brown Events highly enough, when I know they are the planner/coordinator for an upcoming event - I am certain it will be a great one.
